    No problems at all with the new intake manifold. Runs smooth as butter. I didn’t investigate the old manifold any further as I’d just get angry at the dealer for telling me it was cracked. It’s all fixed and over as far as I’m concerned. The guy who did my PP3 install said no lean codes usually...

    so here’s an update to this crazy situation: I had the PP3 installed yesterday. The guy who did it doesn’t think my intake manifold was cracked. I’m going to ask the dealer how they determined my intake manifold was cracked and go from there…..

    Updating just to help anyone out. 2017 S550 65k miles. P2005 and 2007 thought it was the IMRCs. Had them replaced and still a little rough under 2K RPM. Cracked intake manifold

    Called a reputable shop and they told me I’d need a tune for a 350 intake. $300 for the install plus the tune…. Wtf?

    Went to Mavis and was stiffed $3300 on this same issue and it wasn’t fixed. Need to find someone I trust and even though the dealer is marked up like crazy I know they’re not gonna drop the ball on the work…..

    I’d love to but don’t have the tools to do it :/ I’ve done basic things like replacing the evap purge valve and installing the exhaust system but that’s about it

    I want to keep the IMRCs and CMCV if possible. My budget is around $1500. Which is what the dealer quoted me for parts and labor just to replace the stock intake manifold….. insane

    A few questions…… My 2017 stock intake manifold made it 65,000 miles before it cracked :/ stock 2017 intake manifolds are backordered beyond oblivion. Been waiting 1 month already. Looking at a 2018 intake with a lund tune. My powertrain warranty is well expired so the tune should be fine...

    Just picked up a 2015 GT intake manifold. Part number: FR3E-9S455-HB Will this work in my 2017 GT? Looks exactly the same
