To each his/her own but for me, one of the best things about the S550 Mach 1 is the unique striping. Love love the matte black finish against the bright race red on mine.
I bought the Mach 1 to drive and I love the feel of it. My Mach 1 won't have a ton of miles on it but will definitely not be a garage queen. It will probably hold up in value better than most Mustangs but the joy of driving it is worth more than any potential appreciation. There are much...
I would personally go with the MP. I had tried to order one in GT500 but order never got picked up by Ford. I did see the DMG in person and it is stunning (super deep and metallicky). But MP is a very special color.
The shitty thing about MY2022 is the higher base price and higher option package price but there isn't any improvements over MY2021.
I ended up buying slightly used 2021 (3900 miles) in mint condition for $3K less than new 2022 (at MSRP but not including $7500 ADM that most dealers are/were...
To me, it sounds very close to a stock GT500. The "rasp" isn't some shitty sounding rice burner. It sounds more like a modern / high revving race car engine.
Also from a resale or "collectability" point of view (though I don't view cars as investments), the HP option will be more rare and highly desired in the future.
One of the things that I like about the Mustang (vs. Supra, Z, C8, etc.) is that for a real sports car, it is still practical with tolerable rear seats and real trunk.
Having dealt with all of the shenanigans buying a GT500, I ended up going with a slightly used Mach 1 that has the RSD (along...
I've always liked the way GT500 sounds and did not realize until recently that it has a X-pipe /resonator delete from factory. I think X-pipe on the Mach 1 would be awesome (and it is what I am planning on doing when I get mine). Question is which one? Ford Performance, Corsa, Roush, or...
Honestly, it's mostly cosmetics. I am relatively new to Mustangs and bought the Bullitt as slightly more unique GT PP1. Overtime, I learned to appreciate the front end of the 15-17 GT, GT350 and GT500 (highly prefer the larger openings/duct work on bottom corners - not the pinched look /...
I had a 19 Bullitt and loved it. Traded it in for a F150 and ordered a GT500 at local dealership that never came. Got tired of all the shenanigans buying the GT500 and just bought a 21 Mach 1 HP. I think the Mach1 HP improves on the things that the Bullitt was missing "for me."
