Both are really solid tires, but I think the PS4s are just a little bit better. For reference they come as the OEM tire for the C8 Vette. Either way you can't go wrong.
Iāll give it another shot with those. Yeah I have some knocking Iām pretty sure is coming from not being tightened enough and itās driving me crazy.
All good. Yeah it definitely stops it from spinning but finding it hard to get the Allen key to generate enough leverage so I can torque it down without breaking the key. It just seems like a lot of torque for a 6mm and which they used a different design.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what does it mean if shaft freely spins when the car is on the ground? Basically if I tighten just the nut it turns without much resistance.
Iām trying to tighten up the steeda pro active dampers on the front with the recommended 76 lbs of torque and am having a hell of a time with the 6mm Allen socket to stop the shaft from spinning. I have the socket with the cut out so I can keep the Allen key in place while having the 19mm...
Another trick I've found is if you switch to the other charging port, wait for it to show that it's charging your phone battery, and then plug it back into the main one. I don't know why it works, but I'm guessing there's a common mechanism that resets when you connect/disconnect a device.
They're fine until about 7000 miles then they turn into mush. I have a 2021 and I by 9000 miles they had worn down pretty badly especially in back. I've never done burnouts although I do like to get to speed quickly, and they're fine tires until all of a sudden they're scary as hell.
I just got these installed last week to replace the garbage OEM pirellis. I haven't driven the PS4s on a Mustang (had them on a 2018 WRX) but can't image they're much better. Absolutely incredible tire in dry and wet and hook so much better than the stock tires.
Yeah I found a thread from a few years ago I wish I could find but the advice was to give the transmission time to get it to adapt. Especially if you start off kind of gentle (like me coming from a wrx I didnāt want to end up in a tree) and occasionally give it throttle the transmission doesnāt...
Itās the weirdest thing. I made an appointment with my dealer but of course they were booked like 3 weeks out. Between the time I booked and a few days before the issue just went away on its own. Iām not sure if it was the transmission adapting to me driving the car a bit more aggressively...
Sounds like traction control engaging the brakes to limit wheelspin. Itās pretty common, especially for high powered cars, and probably nothing to worry about.
My car has the PP1 package with the bigger rear diff, could that be adding to it too? Sorry if thatās a stupid question, just something Iāve thought about.
