I feel ya, it's very restrictive. Those weren't the first set as I removed them. After a bit I felt as a Bullitt she needed them.

I removed the peices I wanted painted amd took to a local paint/body shop. They used ford's code to match the paint, prepped and painted pieces. I then reinstalled. They said everything was relatively easy expect for the trim around the radio , it's very fragile without the support of the radio...
