Interesting new info thx. So it's officially going to be riding on the same platform as the current Mustang and not get a new separate platform code #/name? What will make the 2015+ Mustang a new (6th) generation then since the generations are usually separated by different platform codes...

It's impressive that even with the current nose heavy weight distribution, the Boss 302 can still squirt around at track as quickly as it does. Imagine the next Boss 302 with weight reduction and more balanced weight (hopefully). It will be something else! :eek:
Totally feel the same way! As long as they keep an NA V8 I'm happy with whatever they decide to power the entry level models with. Not having a big displacement Mustang model just feels plain wrong.

Goin to be time to get rid of the RX-8 in the next couple of years and the current Mustang has always caught my eye but its life cycle is almost over so figured maybe I wait to see what the next one is like first.
