  1. 5.2L FPC Voodoo v 5.5L FPC LT6 "Project Gemini"

I remember the difference between UDUD and UDDU crank throws being explained to me by a former Ferrari mechanic when I was still thinking about buying a GT350. No more "traditional" FPC configuration than Ferrari, I bet. The Ferrari FPC V8s were successful. After the crank throw configuration...
  2. Relocating to snow country???

I drive my GT350 year round in Cheyenne. Not in every weather of course. Snow and ice are for the Subaru. Snow tires on the GT350?!? Only if you need every scrap of spare change just to keep the half-a-race-car running in all weather cause it's your only transportation. And I bet it aint. Live...

The GT350, R or not, is special in a way that puts a huge grin on any driver who cares to pay attention behind the wheel on a beautiful day. Financial investment worthiness, chick magnetism, precious carbon fiber, or what your boss thinks are non-condsiderations at 8000 rpm shifting between 3rd...
  4. Thoughts on the 2023 Z06?

  5. Thoughts on the 2023 Z06?

Yeah, stealing, borrowing, sharing. All for good speed, I'm in!
  6. Thoughts on the 2023 Z06?

I think you're right about Ferrari V8 crankshafts being UDDU and the Voodoo being UDUD. Also, I wonder how much the intake manifold contributes. Both Ferrari and the new Chevy LT6 5.5 use a dual throttle body/dual intake plenum configuration. If I remember right, the Voodoo doesn't or can't use...
