Hi,
I am looking For someone to do an alignment on my 2015 Mustang.
Looking for someone who is willing to take the time to dial it in right. It has stock shocks and struts, Ford Performance Street springs, GT350 sway bars.
I am not looking for a race setup, just someone who knows how to do it...
Thank you. I did go to Ford and bought the service strut-to-spindle bolts.
For those who are looking, they are part# *W715295*S439 and list for $2.29 each currently (11/2022). I just used one on the top only for a little adjustment. If more was needed, I would replace the bottom one and/or...
I stand corrected and thank you! I thought that I read the PP was Identical to the M-5300-XA springs which are 1” drop when people ordered the
2015-2019 MUSTANG TRACK HANDLING PACK M-FR3A-MAA* Everything BUT the spring is identical.
It actually said:
NOTE: Any Mustang that originally came...
Thanks for the info. I came to the same conclusion with the bolts. I installed them backwards so I could get an impact on them without removing the 6 piston Brembo calipers. I looked at my old bolts and struts and they were snug both directions, so I think they don’t matter here. The holes...
I recently installed OEM new struts and Strut mounting bolts and took my car for an alignment. They could not bring the front camber into spec. They said there was “no adjustment” on the two bottom bolts to allow any more camber change. The top plate is labeled FR3C-3K155-BC that cross...
Update:
The car seemed to run fine, except at idle and fill throttle high RPMs. There was nothing wrong electronically that I know of. Took it in to the Ford dealership and they found low compression in two cylinders. 180 vs 160 psi. which is over the 10% difference between cylinders...
Hi everyone!!!,
I need some help. I have a 2015 Ecoboost Premium PP that came with some Steeda springs. I ‘m not sure what they are (FD034.RSA 0616 and ), but I think they are too low and too stiff for my taste.
I am looking to put the OEM suspension back in, but I am having a difficult time...
Can anyone tell me how to identify a Torsen versus non-Torsen rear assembly if it is removed from the car?
I have a 2015 Ecoboost Premium PP.
I am also looking at a 2018 and 2020 carrier assembly with 3.55 gears. I think there are non-Torsen and Torsen types for these years with this same...
3,333 miles. Not because the oil will not break down enough to be bad, but because the dirt in the oil is what causes most of your problems. For the $30 extra every 10k miles (full synthetic), it is worth peace of mind to me.
Also, the cleaner the oil, the less wear and damage to the turbo...
The speed is correct, so it is calculating properly. I need To check the wiring at the rear end as I had the whole frame out to fix the springs and rear end bolts.
I will Try the KAM battery disconnect, but the battery was disconnected for months prior to startup. It was not jumped from pos to neg during that time.
Also, there is a possibility that the transmission wire coming from the engine was damaged. When removing, it was connected to a clip and pulled tight. Any way of testing this? I am thinking the data wire might have broke causing the error.
Nothing seems “wrong”, but I don't know what is...
I did do the crank relearn and it helped, but not fully. (Misfire Monitor neutral Profile correction (successful))
Stock OEM 2021 Mustang GT takeoffs. 255/40-ZR19. This is the as-built size.
Original 3.55 rear end had the same problem.
Swapped a 3.31 rear end when the bearings started to...
I don't know where to begin with the wiring. I bought the car with a blown motor and the previous owner returned the tune to stock.
I don't know if the code existed prior to installation of the new motor. There were some splices in the harness that I patched (soldered).
Do you have any...
Ok, here we go. Looking for some advice. 2015 Mustang Ecoboost Premium PP 50k miles. Just finished rebuilding and installing a motor. Original problem was a bent rod in Cylinder #4 For the replacement motor. Stock rebuild, stock tune and all stock parts. I have out about 1,200 miles since...
it is the name of a company, but it is a term used in the insurance industry: “Like Kind Quality”. This refers to an equivalent used insurance part.
For instance, if you needed a 2016 Mustang fender, a 2015 fender is not LKQ because it is older, even though it is identical. If a 2016 wheel...
