Solid point .it would really be trying out something different but I suppose in the long scheme of things the car is really just set up for daily driving so cheaper options would be the better solution
Yes I got some bad info from Ford parts rep. As well as a local dealer. I was able to find a set of OEM across town from where I am. Still debating it as I see a set of rotors from steeda for a couple more bucks.
I've seen the selection they have in rock auto/summit and so forth but wanted to see what real people are saying about the brands as I've only been using OEM since purchasing the car back in'15.
Looking for recommendations on rotor kit and brake pads for 2015 non pp gt. Daily driving use primarily. OEM parts are on national backorder. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you for suggestions. I didn't have the tool used to easily get the belt on however I did slide it on from the back and with 10 zip tie attempts I was able to get it on.
Just replaced my ac compressor for the first time in 76k miles on 15 s550gt. I couldnt slip off the belt so I ended cutting it off. Here's the issue. How do I install the new belt ?
yeah those were pretty much what i saw online but i wonderd if it can just be remedied by switching out the oem hood for like a cowl hood or the gt500 hood.
yeah i read somewhere that the hood wouldnt close unless the engine mounts were lower or like you said cutting into the hood. i appreciate the thread short cuts.
As stated im trying to source any helpful information about fitment/adjustments needed in order to install a cobra jet intake manifold into a 2015 s550. will new lower engine mounts be needed? will a cowl hood make up for the space needed to close. just trying to inquire any information .
The wheels seem to be identical but the project 6gr seem more concave to me but i haven't seen them in person. I know they are made differently if that matters to you if not save some $$$ and go sve. They both weigh the same so it just comes down to if you want a flow formed wheel or spun forged.
First, that's what I was planning to do but lately, we've been seeing more theft in my area and I daily my car so it would give me a piece of mind. Even tho I know if they really want it they'll take them either one day or the next.
Yeah, I was thinking of grabbing a pair if I can't find another option. I really just want to find some that will leave me with my wheels still on my car vs on caigslist.
