Vaccines are never advertised to prevent the occurrence of a disease. I can understand that some people make that assumption and the associated jump in logic, but it's just not true and never has been. They're meant to prime the immune system so it can better respond in the event you're exposed...
Old thread I know but same issue. I installed the FP MagnaRide Handling Pack. Afterward I was left with a floating disconnected steering feel and realized I needed the bumpsteer and lateral link kit which I got from Steeda. After spending several hours banging away at the knuckle with a hammer...
Well that was easy. Called FP, guy told me to reply to the earlier email I sent them requesting the dongle with a new request for a Voucher ID and 15 mins later they emailed me the Voucher ID.
Thanks guys. When I ordered the kit it came sans the dongle so I had to reach out to Ford Performance to get them to send me one. They never said anything nor asked if I had received the voucher as well. Looks like I'll be speaking with FP again.
You can't use Forscan to program a second fob if you've only got one. You have to go to the dealer or a good locksmith. Don't bother buying a second fob off amazon or ebay, whomever you get to program the second fob will insist on sourcing the fob for you (or will ask you to provide a dealer...
Not sure about the US vs Canada purchase system/process but I would be surprised if any dealer was restricted to the allotment (i.e, can't place a customer order) because it would discourage buyers. The allotment is what the dealer can order to place on their lots. Ford doesn't want any dealer...
Did the White Madness Garage Short Shifter and the Manual bezel. Got the manual bezel from Levittown. Couple of notes:
You have to crack the plastic ring that came with the manual bezel to get it off the boot. I used a pair of pliers to to squeeze the black plastic ring on the inside...
This hasn't been my experience with the other major credit card companies like Citi, CaptialOne or Discover. They usually will try to sell a buyer protection plan that incurs a monthly fee or will simply eat it and refund the amount in question which doesn't charge back to the vendor. Maybe...
Try Cook Ford in Texas City. I take my Ford's there and they're always able to work me in when needed. They tend to operate more like a small town dealer and might be able to get you in quicker. McRee's wait the last time I checked was several weeks and I haven't really had much luck working...
I've owned a dozen Fords since the early 2000s, they all rattle. Expeditions, Explorers, F150s, Mustangs, Super Dutys...after a few thousand miles you end up chasing bad clips or unsecured wiring harnesses. It's just the nature of a mid-level quality mass produced product. If you're lucky...
