Hey guys! I was wondering if anything knew of any decent quick fix and products I could buy to fix the hanger that hold up the muffler to my exhaust without welding. Wondering if this could be done. As always appreciate the feedback!

I can confirm I had a defective Throttle Body. Problem went away, kept tune, still rev up to 7500 and no problems

Have you figured out the issue? Contacted the dealer? I’ll keep you posted if it fixed the problem. Does your car go into limp mode too?

I’m getting my car back today. Had the Throttle Body replaced so I’ll keep everyone updated if it was just defected or had any relation to tune/software.

Really sending gratitude your way! I’ve managed to have them declare and sign a waiver indicating that they sold me a vehicle with aftermarket parts neither parties were aware of. Hopefully they’ll assume responsibility for this. But why would a rev limiter cause an emissions fail?

I am not, but I’m assuming they’re replacing the Throttle Body with the OEM one anyway.

Kinda new to this, what exactly do you mean by “smog the car every 2 years?” What does “smog” mean? And what exactly would I say to the dealership? Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I owned a 2017 GT before this one and the rev max stopped at 7k. This one revs and stops at 7750k. The 2017 GT model I had wouldn’t ever let me push past 7k mark. Any idea about that?

First thing I tried, didn’t solve the issue. I also reinstalled the JMS Pedalmax and disconnected the battery to recalibrate the throttle position sensor. Also didn’t solve it.
