A couple of the cam shaft retainers split right down the middle too, pistons are good, I'm getting at least one new head at this point.

When I called they immediately recommended a buy back. Not sure if it's because of the extremely low mileage or what. No talk of a warranty or other compensation.

I will check Monday when I go for my I'm not sure if I want it back since it's going to be a dealer built engine. Might be opening a can of worms with this one. RAV is supposed to be giving me a call soon. Just FYI, it's at 947 miles.

Just as a warning, my timing chain tensioner broke on my way to the dealer for the recall. They have the option to go to your house for the inspection
