Here is a picture to give you a perspective of how close the alternator is with the FL-500S.

I just passed the 1000 mile mark and was changing the oil today. I was going to run the Ford Racing FL820 filter, but I couldn’t get it to clear the alternator. It just seems to be too wide compared to the FL-500s. Has anyone else gotten the FL820 to fit on the Mach 1? Great car, I can’t wait...

Pappagray are you going to run 315 fronts on the factory HP wheels? Just curious if they will fit/clear.
