Oh Michelin... My Dad swore by them. No doubt a great tire but always been overpriced. For this performance level, I'm a huge fan of Conti EC2 sport AS tires. Have had them on an M3, 135i, Z435i, JagXK, and more. On my current GT, I wanted a bit retro, and "American" and went with the BFG...
The Mach 1 visually, is pretty discrete... Only Mustang fans really see the difference. The exhaust gets some attention, but so many 'Stangs are loud(er) as hell anyways.

Especially in Florida, or anywhere else where rental convertibles are a dime-a-dozen
Didn't know about the 2-series convertible... Have not been in the the market for a few years. I hope they bring it back... I much prefer it over the 4-series. As to the Z4, the "package shelf" in the cockpit is pretty-much the same as in the E89... About 4" deep at best.... No way a...
He's in Germany, so any Mustang is rare, and it seems he has a Bullitt , so even more so... I can see the desire to keep that car with the trend of the 7th gen and beyond... As to the poster's question, I've have an E89 Z4 S-drive 35I and I loved everything about it except no interior storage...
Agreed, Jiffy Lube too big a business, too much turnover. I used to do my own changes, but nowadays, I just bring my own stuff, just because the selection at these places is not very good. This Grease Monkey shop I went to before, have a rapport with the guys (I'm the guy that stands by and...
Has anyone had experience in changing their oil filter with the Napa Gold 7502 filter? Does it go on hard/tight? I ask because I took my '18 GT to a local Grease Monkey for an oil change today. I provided the oil and filter (oil change (labor) cost $44). I brought a Napa Gold 7502 filter...
I think my '18 GT shifts ok... Not even in the same realm as my Jaguar XK in smoothness, but fine for me. I normally drive in Track mode with all the traction controls off and know how to modulate the throttle to get the response I want.
Casterol Edge 5W20 - 2 cans of Ceratec. However, I'll have to say that I forgot I got an oil change in July w/o Ceratec, so I can't really how my oil used to look. I don't remember it looking milky, at least on the dipstick.
I use Ceratec, my oil does not look like a milkshake, at least with a casual observation. Regardless, its was said elsewhere, the dealer would have to prove the additive was the source of a failure. This will never happen with an individual dealer. I have faith that Ceratec, at the very least...
in 44 years of driving, I've never not had a convertible of one sort or another. I've also never not had a garage, so I understand your winter concerns if parking outside. However, my daily driver '18 has survived 4 years of Seattle winters and one year here in Florida without a problem. Top...
Old cars are rarely a good daily driver. Nostalgia blurs you memory and omits context. My 70-year-old Dad drove his highly optioned '76 Fastback as a daily driver for a few years, but eventually gave in and bought a new GT in '05 when they came out. He kept both for a few years but the '67...
