  1. Magnaride rear shock removal

Any one ever have success removing the rear shocks from the lower control arms? I got them out when the cadle was out. Doing it in the car is a different story. I just can move them around enough to get them out. It's like a evil genius designed the opening.
  2. 2021 Mustang GT Auto with QA1 Rev series cabron fiber driveshaft-vibration

Any suggestions for reducing the vibration at 60-80mph? I expected some but I have no idea what is the expected level should be. It feels like I'm on a rough road once I hit 65MPH through 80MPH. I can feel it a bit in the seat and in the steering wheel. I contacted QA1 and they say I should...
  3. T stat change-drain rad or just tank

Anyone here change the t stat without draining the rad? Or just drain the tank?
  4. My experience Diff lock out BK051 vs Steeda 555-4443

I have both kits. Looking at them both, in my opinion, the Steeda 555-4443 is the better kit. It comes with both the softer and harder durometer pucks. The pucks have reliefs for the ribs in the oem bushings. The pucks are a smaller diameter than the the BMR kit (a couple of milimeters). It's...
  5. Diff bolt bending/breakage-my take

Hi All, I've been reading with interest and dismay regarding the number of diff bolt and bushing failures reported on this forum. In the grand scheme of things its probably rare, but when it happens to you and the amount of carnage it causes, it is a concern. I am about to embark on swapping...
  6. QA1 drive shaft-color coding

Anyway buy a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft lately? There is mention in the instructions that the fasteners at the cv end have colored markings that need to match up to the colors on the drive shaft flange. Mine have no markings, colors, or anything. The only markings are a stripe indexing the...
  7. Stifflers driveshaft loop

For those that installed one of these on an A10, where did you support the trans? The ban is plastic. Did you use the metal wiring harness bracket?
  8. BMR BK051 with CB005 cradle lock out and brace-Noisy?

I have the CB005 cradle lock out and the BMR brace. Im about to install a QA1 one piece carbon fiber drive shaft. It got me thinking about locking out the differential. I have the BK051 inserts an RH017 hardware kit. I tried to install it last year, but couldnt get the front of the cradle to...
  9. Carbon fiber drive shaft 2021 GT PP1 Auto

Who's driveshaft is everyone using on the 21 autos? I contacted QA1 and they said they haven't test fitted them yet so there is no part number for it. Any suggestions?
  10. Strange auto trans behaviour aftet Roush tune update

Last year I had my PCM reflashed in my 2012 GT PP1 by Roush via a local Ford dealer. They don't use the same trans relearn that Ford lists. They say drive it around in normal mode only, no paddle shifting for a tank of gas. I did that and since then I have a 4th to 5th flare from 100 to 500rpm...
  11. Steeda 555-8242 magneride lowering springs-Awesome!

They were a pain to install but well worth it. Cat rides much better in sport plus mode and handles better. Didn't need camber plates. Very happy with them and Steeda's service!
  12. camber plates- need more positive camber

im starting to regret this lowering spring thing. from my cheapo magnetic camber gage im seeing about 2 3/4 neg on the right and 2.5 neg left with a 1 inch drop. it was 1.5/1.7 before. I bought the MMRs but after looking at them they seem more geared to give you more negative and zero...
  13. Installing camber plates after the fact

In a previous post I mentioned I could not use the MMR camber plates due to the lack of correct bushings for the shock rod spherical bearings after installing the Steeda 8242 springs. I haven't had an alignment yet but suspect the camber is probably more negative now (it was -1.7 fixed). I am...
  14. Steeda magneride 555 8242 springs- rear bump stops

Anyone using these springs with magneride cut rear bump stops? I couldn't even figure out how to get the shocks out of the car without de pining the plug and removing the upper mount and pulling it out of the bottom. I can't even figure out how to pull the boot down There are none in the...
  15. MMR camber plates-a dollar short

Quality wise these are very nice. Detail wise, alot to be desired. I finally got around to getting the front magneride lower springs swapped. Took it to my buddies garage as he had a proper wall mounted spring compressor. We went to install the MMR camber plates. No dice. They give you two...
  16. Installation tips-BMR WAK761 camber lock outs

I thought I'd pass along a little wisdom after tackling this horrendous job. My first piece of advice is drop the cradle if you can and do the diff lockouts while you are at it. If you are as dump as me and insist on doing this with the cradle in place then here are some things to know. All...
  17. BMR WAK761 camber lockout drivers side install tips

Drivers side is tight. Very little room to work. Any tips hopefully without lowering the cradle as the braces/brackets make it a PITA to get that one. Pass side has much more room. Thanks!
  18. Cradle upgrades. You may want to drop it

Over the past few days I've been working on the rear end of my 21 GT. Things like diff lock out, springs, cam arms, cam arm lockouts, cradle lock out and brace. What I can say is some things may need to have the cradle dropped to do the dispute what the instructions say Specifically: Front...
  19. Magneride shocks-how to get them out

So I have had them out once before when I did the bushings in the controls arms. I did the springs today and wanted to pull then to get them out of the way. It appears you can get the out going up and you might get the out going down if you pull the mounts, or you disconnect the hub at the...
  20. Diff lock out bushing-A luch box let down

I bought a set of BMR diff lock out bushing and decided to put them in today since it seemed easy. Wrong. Nothing to do with BMR. First I had to cut the front bolts since the Ford Perf axles are larger and they are like 1/16" too long to get out. Then the front bushings. I loosened the rear...
