The sticker price on the Camaro is under $40k and it has 12,000 miles and it’s a year old. So I think $42k trade in is pretty good lol. But they can manipulate the numbers and likely aren’t really giving me $42k trade in. At any rate, I’m not buying it.

Agreed cars are very subjective. This thread was focused more on the financial. In the end I didn’t buy it. @ttillub19 that’s basically where I am at. Although the mach 1 is certainly faster around a race track, but I’m not tracking any of these cars.

Lol. Someone bought a white 6 speed while I was there and drove off as I was walking back to my Camaro after the deal fell through. But if I did buy it, I would only drive it 2-3 times per month lol.

Thank you. I agree with just about everything you said. When I drove the mach 1 I wasn’t blown away by the difference between it and the LT1. Sure the mach 1 was nicer because it is the premium model and lots of cool features. But it wasn’t a situation where I “had to have it”. That being said...

So I paid $40k for my Camaro and I’m being offer $39-$42 for it after driving for a year and putting 12,000 miles on it. Do you think I could do the same with a mach1? Drive it for a year and sell it for what I paid?

Thanks. I spoke with the salesman again re taking off the delivery fee and protection package and they told me the price they gave me is the bottom line. So I guess I’ll have to pass on this car. I doubt it will sit long enough for them to change their mind. But who knows.

Thank you, I agree on those fees as being baloney. I would have bought it had they removed those fees today. I appreciate the advice regarding price matching with car gurus. I didn’t look at that angle because I thought these things were rare to find at a dealer sitting on the lot.

Thank you. I’m having a hard time determining “ the invoice price” on the car. I love the Camaro, it’s a weekend car and doesn’t get driven much. But I feel the Mach 1 is more rare, looks better and certainly handles better and is just an all around upgrade.

Nope, I love the Camaro. But I see the M1 as an upgrade for obvious reasons. The reason I am even looking is carvana/ KBB/ CarMax/ car gurus/ vroom will give me more for the Camaro then I paid for it new. And it’s a year old with 12,000 miles.

Hey folks, I came close to buying a 2022 Mach 1 today. I would be trading in my 2021 Camaro LT1, which is paid for. Do you think this is a good deal? Msrp is $61,520.

They are in Jacksonville, FL at Coggin Ford. Ones white with 6M and the other is black with 10 speed.
