Hey everyone, unfortunately, I am selling my Mustang Ecoboost.
Upgraded CVF Street Intercooler, CVF Downpipe (catted), Airaid Intake Tube, NGK Performances spark plugs, MBRP Catback Exhaust (street version). Pro-tuned by PD Tuning. Comes with AccessPort device to future tuning and computer...
Hey everyone, I have been trying to find a good deal on the MMD Top grill for my 2018 Mustang Ecoboost. If anyone has one laying around, I would be interested! Thanks!
My Ecoboost is protuned and almost FBO. I honestly break legal speeds wayyyy to much already just putting it to the floor for 1 second. I don't know how you Coyote boys don't end up in jail. I would like that V8 Sound, that's the only thing its missing. Both good cars though.
What kind of mods? They probably won't install intake/intercooler/exhaust. But they should install the Ford Performance tune. When I was considering the Ford Performance Tune I looked at like 6 dealerships before I could find one that would do it for me. Some said they didn't know what I was...
Hey everyone, I just wanted to see what everyone's story is:
What car did you own before you got a Mustang?
Is there anything you miss about that car?
What car, if any, are you considering getting next?
Do you have any regrets about your current Mustang choice (e.g., wish you got the GT instead...
You can get the Ford Performance Tune done at a local Ford Dealership. Other tune devices/tuners will void your warranty if you are worried about that at all. Ford Performance Tune comes with a warranty. If you go with a ProTune (PD Tuning, Tune Plus) and use a Cobb Accessport Device, you can...
I'm in the same pickle as you. The Cervini looks way clean, but I've probably read the same thing you have, and it left a bad taste in my mouth about it. I have also been looking at the MMD grill, and the reviews for that one look way better. So, I'm basically stuck for the moment. Let me know...
Thank you for the info. I was able to change out the plugs myself thankfully. I just l received my first protune map from PD Tuning, so I will make sure to check them every 10 thousand or so.
Thanks guys, appreciate the help. Yeah, I think I might do it myself. Just need a few tools. Im not too mechanically inclined, but I'm trying to work a little here and there on the car. Earlier I installed the Airaid modular intake tube and it wasn't that crazy, might watch a few videos and...
Talked to Cobb, this is what they wrote
"Matthew,
Thanks for contacting COBB Support! We personally don't use colder plugs on any of our R&D cars, but it shouldn't affect anything negatively when used with an OTS map. They are supposed to dissipate heat faster, so they are less prone to knock...
I'm just wondering because I don't have an exact tune day set for Ryan yet. I am going to have a shop do my plugs. I doubt they are going to be able to have a smooth transition from getting my plugs installed and Ryan tuning on the same day. So I thought I would get the plugs put in firs so Ryan...
Hey everyone, I was going to get my spark plugs changed this weekend to the NGK 1 step colder plugs. I know that Cobb specified their OTS tunes with OEM plugs, but I was wondering if the tune would be okay with the NGKs? I'm currently in the process of setting up a day with Ryan from PD Tuning...
Okay, tried out Cobb Stage 1 for a bit. Now I updated it to Stage 2. I've read several threads that said they couldn't tell the power different between the two, but I can definitely say that Stage 2 is better! It really makes the car feel smooth and powerful. Can't wait for the protune next!
