Not going anywhere until the 5th gen vipers start coming down in price. That is to say, IF they ever come down in price. I find it hard to match the theatre of the gt350 for the money. Sure there are faster or more reliable cars out there but the gt350 just has one of the best driving...
Sorry I thought this was in the gt350 thread. I'm normally on my phone when I'm on here but I'm in the office all week so I'm looking at it on a computer screen. Again, sorry lol
Who's doing your tuning? I managed 766 wheel on 94 with stock cats and the provided 3.875 pulley from the gen 5 kit. On E85 with no cats and the smaller pulley I don't see why you couldn't get to 900 wheel with the right tune. Are you planning on upgrading your clutch to a mantic or mcleod etc...
Granted, no factory road cars that I know of that's for sure. But I was just making the point that if driving a manual trans makes you slower then driving a pdk/auto makes you slower compared to a sequential I guess. I have seen a few builds with ppg's and one with a sadev trans. Oddly enough I...
Even a great trans like the pdk isn't as fast as a sequential. I don't mean to start a manual vs auto argument but just sayin, if the speed of the trans is the dominating factor in not being "slower" then wouldn't it make sense to focus on that and get a sequential? Idk how you measure the fun...
Virtually every youtube video I've seen where a C8 loses that's the bulk of the comments. As I type this I'm realizing how silly it is of me to even be reading youtube comments about a car or a race. I should know better; nothing good ever comes from reading comments on youtube or forums about a...
While I completely agree about not buying a gt350 to be quiet (and a resonator delete), it is a nice option when I'm heading out at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday and don't want to wake the whole neighborhood. I just wish there was mode memory in the GT350 or at least the ability to open the...
I also have the metrovac and can confirm the unit definitely puts out filtered warm/hot air. So much so that the cone fitting piece broke where it connects to the hose. I'm assuming this was a combination of heat and a stress point but either way I wasn't impressed when I needed a replacement...
My 2016 Avalanche Grey with the track pack. I can't remember my chassis number and the car is currently in winter storage. The gen v whipple went on late last season so I'm hoping to enjoy it fully this summer. It's quite the handful now and I have to be mindful not to bang it off the limiter...
