  1. Will ceramic coating cause wheel weights to fall off?

In case it helps someone I'm having this same issue as well.....wheels weights are falling off the ceramic coated wheels. Will check with Firestone if they have a way to make it work; otherwise will have to wash/polish off the ceramic coating. Wish I saw this thread earlier haha
  2. Rear suspension noise

LOL -- I like that haha! Yeah, this loaded suspension components' torquing is such a hassle, lol. I mean it makes total sense, just not my most favorite thing to do lol
  3. Rear suspension noise

Hello all! Just wanted to give a quick update. I didn't remove/replace the CB005 with the Steeda kit yet but I did clock all the bushings (in the past I wasn't able to get to the front inner and rear inner control arm for the rear) just to see if that solves it. And so far no sound but I won't...
  4. Steeda Camber Plates question

Awesome thanks @tj@steeda for following through with this! I take this means though the camber plate may not have been installed/adjusted using the correct procedure, the way it is sitting now is not a problem, as long as the strut not is not attempted to be adjusted while on the car. Thanks...
  5. Rear suspension noise

Okay will do! I got the Steeda subframe bushing kit (didn't want to remove the BMR, check for noise, then once confirmed THEN install the Steeda...trying to minimize the chances of cross-threading those subframe bolts lol). It should come tomorrow and hopefully will put them in the next day --...
  6. Rear suspension noise

Wow thanks for sharing that thread @StangTime ! It was a relief to see it wasn't just my problem and also that this may be the source of the noise! Because that noise was/is driving me crazy esp since I've replaced and retorqued the rear parts so many times now -- so thanks for this info! I had...
  7. Steeda Camber Plates question

Okay makes sense! My camber isn't too extreme....it's around -2.0. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks again @bnightstar !
  8. Rear suspension noise

That's a good point! I removed/replaced the passenger side one with the original Ford bracket and the sound was still there; I haven't done it with both passenger and driver pieces though. I noticed yesterday that the driver side piece looked a little slanted. I should give that a try. Thanks...
  9. Rear suspension noise

Hello all! I originally intended this to be to Kelly @BMR Tech , but it wouldn't let me start a private conversation. Below is my issue and description. There's a clanking noise that comes from the rear passenger side, and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the CB005 kit (I switched...
  10. Steeda Camber Plates question

Hi guys, so I'm an idiot, haha, my issue was a zip tie for the ABS sensor started touching the end link, making the noise 😂 Thank you @shogun32 for your input and also @tj@steeda for reaching out! If possible I would still like to know about the camber plates; they're probably fine/installed...
  11. Steeda Camber Plates question

Hi TJ, I sent the PM to tj@steeda (I didn't see Tim@steeda) -- thank you for your response!
  12. Steeda Camber Plates question

For example in the first picture with the flash on, you can see the raised part of the camber plate very close to making contact with the strut tower metal opening. And it doesn't have the "rails" that the strut assembly slides on in between it and the body of the strut tower. Is that normal?
  13. Steeda Camber Plates question

Hi @shogun32 , it is moreso like a creaking, and feels like there's slight resistance to the wheel turning, when the noise comes. Like there's friction that causes the noise, then breaks free, then friction again, etc, all in milliseconds, leading to the noise. I wouldn't describe it as a...
  14. Steeda Camber Plates question

Hello all, I'm getting some noise when I turn, usually on full lock but sometimes during a normal turn as well. This started happening right as the temperature got cold so I'm not sure if that's a factor. From searching on the forum it seems to be the front upper spring isolator, although I had...
  15. Crunching/thumping coming from rear?

I had a similar issue yesterday after doing the suspension. For me, turned out the shock nuts weren't torqued to spec (the nut that sits on the shock shaft above the mount) I know there's other threads that talk about the rear control arm nuts, vertical links, and even the sway bar. But the...
  16. Steeda Camber Plates with Bilstein B6

Okay thanks for sharing! And yeah, totally feel you on "a lot of up and down" doing this install lol. I might have to go a little less negative on the rear camber since I'm rocking the stock non-PP 235s in the rear lol -- can't afford to lose any contact patch back there! Thanks @IPOGT for...
  17. Steeda Camber Plates with Bilstein B6

Awesome @Siege happy to hear you got it done! What were you thinking alignment-wise, lol? I know it's partly subjective but I was thinking going off the BMR spec sheet as a base....but maybe -1.8 or so camber in the front and -1.3 or so in the rear. Factory specs call for more negative camber...
  18. Steeda Camber Plates with Bilstein B6

Hello all! Was able to complete the install last night (all 4 corners) -- thank you all for your tips and suggestions! If anyone needs to bounce any ideas please feel free to message me. @Siege I hope your install goes smoothly as well -- let me know if there's anything I can advise on! On the...
  19. Which fuse taps for mustang 2019 bullit

Oh okay, something like this?: https://www.blackboxmycar.com/collections/blackvue/products/power-magic-pro-blackvue This does say (at least on Blackvue's website) that it includes "Add-a-Fuse Kits and Fuse Taps" I would double-check the Amazon listing; I remember when I was shopping around...
  20. Which fuse taps for mustang 2019 bullit

And if I may give some feedback, I purchased them refurbished, for 3 of our cars, and they all had this internal rattling. It turned out it was a circuit board inside the dashcam that isn't always secured properly during assembly, so the solution was to stick some electrical tape to get rid of...
