Yeah mate, I'm actually in Melbourne (though originally from Brisvegas!). I got these from MyMustangMods, it was the best price I could find in Aus. Their website said they were in their US warehouse but they actually had them locally and were able to deliver them within a few days of ordering.
I went with Shelby CS3s (20x9.5 and 20x11 is how they sell them). I think they look fantastic and quite factory. I imagine they are easier to keep clean than the birds nest wheels too!
Me too. I'm in Australia so we only have the stock 5 spoke wheels but these look like the optional Y spoke but larger and also a bit darker so they match the spoiler, wing mirrors and stripe really well.
I'm running 265/35 and 285/35 on Steeda dual rate springs. Fits very well but you could go definitely go wider at the rear, I'm running semi-slicks and finding an affordable 295 or 305 was tricky. 285/35R20 is very similar to the 275/40R19 stock fitment. Running Nankang NS-2R tyres.
Yeah I know, that's why I was surprised that it felt better. My son was in the car last night and also said the same thing (without me priming him) so I wonder if it's a case of the spring/magneride combo working better together? Either way, the main thing is that it is still comfortable for...
Steeda dual rate springs in. I dare say it's actually more comfortable than stock, which makes no sense given even the soft rate is harder than stock.
Already have Steeda adjustable sway bars, ultimate IRS stop the hop, front camber plates and rear camber adjusters.
A smidge bit (like 2cm) lower.
I've gone sway bars, dual rate springs, ultimate IRS stop the hop and camber plates (non HP, all Steeda) and the most noticeable street mod is the IRS kit. Much more stable rear under acceleration. Sway bars keep it flat on track around corners. The dual rates were only put on today so will have...
I had a rattle that was more in the b pillar but wanted to mention it just in case as car acoustics can be weird!
Mine was from the seat belt retractor (front right seat belt). You can verify if it's this easily by pulling the belt quickly so it locks when you hear the rattle, this should make...
Done last week:
Steeda adjustable sway bars front and rear
Steeda adjustable camber plates (in Australia, so non HP car)
Steeda ultimate stop the hop:
IRS Subframe Bushing Support System
Billet Aluminum Vertical Links
IRS Subframe Support Braces
Adjustable Rear Toe Links
Getting a track...
No, the battery churn doesn't seem to be a problem (I was worried about that too). For day to day trips I've not had a concern. If I was doing a roadtrip I'd still just go wired.
