Yeah, I will do that. But will also drive out my way to get the good stuff, figure others will too. Thought we could get a local list going for everyones benefit.
Who is running e85 and what's the best best spot you found for high content?
Getting a tune for it and know the quality drops in winter. Racetrac in forney is the closest spot, but I've heard they have lower quality e85. Work near downtown Dallas.
Used on my gen 2 for few thousand and kept them for my gen 3. Tuner is telling me I don't need them on a gen 3. 220 shipped CONUS. 200 picked up in DFW.
I didn't hate them but they are about a 400lb spring rate in the front which is amazing for turn in and spirited driving but not for the unfinished pot hole ridden roads that lead to my neighborhood. You will want to go slow over very rough surfaces.
Lots of good advice here, brakes are very simple as a mechanical system and generally speaking the components get bigger for the sake of dealing with heat better not increasing clamping force. It sounds like for your described purpose bigger components would be an investment you wouldn't get...
I installed the fronts for 500 miles. They are amazing in the city but I live out on a bunch of country roads and the spring rates are a bit much for my daily commute. All the other parts are still wrapped in plastic untouched. Dropping the price since fronts we're installed.
