  1. Edelbrock E-Force Troubleshooting Manual

What's the smallest upper pulley size with stock lower you all would recommend going with our TVS 2650s? Eaton states on their website that the maximum blower RPM is 18,000 so I'm curious how low people have gone. I am currently running a 3in upper and seeing 9 psi at 7500 rpm. I know that most...

I think I'm punching above my weight class here with y'all. I like the mechanical side of engines, I built my own motor, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a damn thing about the math behind the computer side of this stuff. I just go by what the tuner tells me. "E85 is good" "E70...

I agree with this... not sure EXACTLY what PBD tuned my car for but it seemed anything below E75 is no good (Take this with a grain of salt because we only ran into a "bad E" situation once. Luckily for me, as stated before the station by my house is consistently well above that. I test E there...

Hey K4 did you still want to see new logs?
  5. Lean at WOT

This is fair. I agree that there's no such thing as "bad" E because the ethanol mixture can be different for a bunch of different cars to be considered "good". If my car is tuned for E50 and I go to the pump giving me an 50% ethanol blend I'm gonna call that "good" E. On the contrary, if my car...

It was also 25 degrees outside which could have also been the culprit.
  7. Lean at WOT

My car sat for 3 weeks and she struggled to start lol eventually we got there but yeah, leaving E to sit is no joke.

I think by "bad E85" he means when the pump isn't quite at 85% ethanol. There's a bunch of E85 stations near me and one of them is consistently between 85%-90% and I've never once seen it below 75% so it's safe to say that you'll get pretty good E from there (Propel). However, just one exit down...
  9. Lean at WOT

It could be bad E yes. BUT with bad E your knock sensors are more likely to go crazy because the Ethanol mixture doesn't have enough octane. E85 is going to use around 30% more fuel than 93 so you won't see the same issues in regards to fueling unless something is really messed up. My fueling...
  10. Clicking From Rear Wheel

Yes sir the original ones on the car were very flimsy the new factory ones they sell are much better but i still change them every time just to be safe.
  11. Clicking From Rear Wheel

From the time I posted this i've gone through 3 wheel hubs lol it's actually quite frustrating how often these things go bad. Car is boosted so that's no help but man that god damn clicking is the bane of my existence!

Of course brother. That would be my first guess you gotta start with the easy stuff first then work your way up. In the meantime while you wait to have them tested, if you have an ohm reader you can test those connections at your injector to see if they are getting the proper voltage. Unlikely...

Sorry man I just came back to check this, I know it's been a while be we are still working on some stuff. I can send any log you want! We found a good revision in our "R3x" file (revision 3 with a variation) but the issue with that one is when you shift to 5th it does like a double upshift which...

What's up man, my issue was my wiring. I didn't do the best job of making connections between fuel pumps and the harness. Redid all my wiring and it fixed the issue of going lean at wot now im dealing with some other small problems but the tune is mostly getting dialed in. As for your...

I sent him the same logs I sent you and he asked if the belt was slipping? I don’t think it was but I didn’t switch belts after swapping to a smaller pulley so it is a possibility. Also possible that it was spinning a bit. I’m sure either of those two factors would affect the data in some way...

Emailed two E85 logs to you
  17. Lean at WOT

Replaced wheel bearing and went out around 1am to try and log some pulls. It was about 30 degrees out and the car liked that a lot lol I couldn’t hook in 3rd or 4th. Will try again and update soon.
  18. Lean at WOT

Will do. Got new tires and the shop broke two of my rear passenger wheel studs so i have to deal with that first. Will get to logging as soon as possible.

Update: Working on a 3rd revision of the E85 map with PBD. 91 map came out great and runs strong. E85 still seems to go lean at WOT although not as bad as before. Going out to get logs right now. Will drop them here for anyone that wants to have a look.
  20. Lean at WOT

I don’t have an E85 pull I’ll have to reflash the E85 file from PBD and switch the fuel over. I’ll work on that after PBD gets back to me because I also sent them these logs. The car is going to live on E so they’ll likely want to switch back as well. Will update! Thanks a ton for the help!
