Wildlife Biologist for past 34 years. Really pays off when Iām digging deer parts out of my F-250 grill. āOh look, a kidney, all measurements and fat % indicate I just eliminated a nice healthy deerā. Seriously, itās been an interesting career.
47-49 coming down the mountain after Top of the World MTBR in New Mexico. Those gripper tires were singing and I was more nervous than my first 167 pass in alcohol injected altered we ran a few years back. That rascal was a handful.
Iāll be 57 in three days and one year to go before I sign the papers. As a wildlife biologist this is not historically the pattern. We have normally stayed to the last possible moment with all having a passion for our career. Politics has creeped up on us and now everyone in my age range is...
Iāve been around the drag racing game since birth in 1965 but this looks like the most engaging thing I can imagine with a fine car. My only reasonable chance would be the Hallett track in Oklahoma and I will get there at some point. Excellent video, great car and superb skills. Thanks for sharing.
My initial impression, āhey, itās a Camaro you can see out ofā. Really I donāt have strong feelings either way yet. Need to be near one. Iām pretty certain it will not have a ā69 Mach 1 level impact on me. Still canāt walk away from one without looking back.
Thanks for your quick reply. After a negotiating with their insurance company they are going to buy my truck so itās their baby now. Bad side is I have to find a truck quickly in this tight market.
Thanks Benny,
I will get VIN ASAP. Iām open to short block, long block or whatever option I can find. I never thought this would be such a quest. Glad it wasnāt the Mustang this happened to.
Hi Benny,
This is a big request. Would it be possible to find service engine replacement part HL3Z 6006 DARM? My 18 F-150 5.0 was trashed by local gas station switching gas/diesel storage tanks. Hydro-locked a cylinder and broke a rod. Thanks
Can anyone suggest a good wheel therapist? I have suffered from wheel paralysis since 1980. So many great choices through this thread and in each case - almostā¦.not quiteā¦..$#*_! Back to OEM! We all have our demons.
This may sound ridiculous but check your brake fluid. I had 15 Chevy work truck that had same symptoms. It would go to reduced power, hill start assist not available, all kinds of lights on. The truck had a rear brake line leak.
I broke out the buffer.....again. I just finished a lengthy paint correction on the black beauty to prep for ppf install. The hood had a couple of rock chips beyond repair so I had the hood painted. While I was picking up the car my body shop friend told me his paint guy had washed the whole car...
Couldnāt resist a little fun with local service center. My wife brought our 18 F150 in for service. I picked her up in our 18 GT. After listening to the rattle-trap F150 I asked the service manager to step outside and have a listen to the silent running Mustang. āSo youāre telling me the Mustang...
Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress. Reminds me of my Dad and Uncle bangin gears when the muscle cars were new. I was riding safe though atop an 8-track tape case with seatbelt on.
