My biggest concern is that I'm not covered for damages caused by curbs. If so if there are blood stains, which I assume would normally be covered, it it ASSUMED that you drove over a curb and is therefore not covered? This is a slippery slope.
Thanks y'all. đź‘Ť Looks like it might be a bit before I do that lowering. Just found out I'll probably be moving across the country. Which is cool because I haven't done that in a few months.
So all I have to do is upgrade to Sync 3 and I get drive modes? I thought I read somewhere that you have to do dual zone climate control swap which is pointless because I'm only ever in one side of the car at a time.
Nightmare, went for a nice midnight cruise last night. Brakes feel good. I never thought that sitting for 6 weeks would do that, especially in the desert. It has been more humid lately though.
I'll go for a drive in a bit and see if it has sorted itself out in the last 500 miles or so since I posted. I haven't used the brakes hard since then.
Hi guys. I have this wheel and tire setup. How much wheel spacer should I/could I run? Car is sitting at stock height but will get lowered soon (no more than 1.2 front 1.0 rear).
Thanks!
Jon
I was about to do coilovers like I have on my SN95 then I scraped my '20 GT at stock height yesterday and decided to go bags. Subscribed. How about the controller options? What made yall go with brand X over brand Y?
I figured it was probably a little bit of rust but didn't like the fact that it didn't go away after driving it to work and back. Also, I'm in the desert and there shouldn't be much rust.
I just tested the brakes a bit on my '20 GT with 2,900 miles on it and they are pretty crunchy when I hit them hard. I haven't driven the car in about 6 weeks because a coyote wiped out the radiator and AC condenser and I just got it back on the road. Coyote went straight through the lower...
LOL. I do not. But it is the same formula, give or take a thousand pounds. 2 door car, cheap ($32k brand new and I probably overpaid), throw in a V8 and a stick and ride it. It was the same price as a well optioned Accord. Fun, reliable, affordable, yes. Special...not so much. Just a car...
Not everyone. My GT is just a secretary's car with a V8. I sure like it but even to me it isn't special.
I actually think that the GT350 might be a very desirable car in the future. Look at the last of the stick manual transmission Ferraris. Their values are skyrocketing. The 350 might...
