I was going to a station close to my house and at that time it was e55 flex fuel. I now go to this station that is consistent e85 and tested at the pump.
My car sat for weeks. I was away doing contract work for 2 months. Before I left my car at home, it drove fine. But when I returned to drive it I noticed the hesitation and bucking. I replaced plugs, crank sensor, ignition coils and the car felt somewhat better but it still had a noticeable...
Hey there man. I think I remember your thread. What all parts have you replaced or cleaned? I remember dataloging my car and I remember my 02 sensors was showing lean. My car runs majority on e85 and I blame myself for going to different gas stations which was a bad idea. 1 of gas station e85...
Just follow up to this old thread. Problem ended up being 1 bad leaking injector and 1 partially clogged. I took all 8 injectors to local injectors cleaning place in Phoenix and was updated on the issue. I would say my problem is contributed to my car sitting for extended periods of time with...
I had a check engine light pop on recently. I replaced the bank 1 sensor 2 O2 which had a clipped wire. All rear downstream O2 are from carparts and NTK brand. Car barely is driven until my off days. Car has sat outside the past several weeks. Today I received the same code and misfire code on...
I have a stage 3. I installed it last summer. It shifts flawlessly with minimal whine. The exhaust drowns the whine out lol. Probably overkill for my setup but I installed the CENTERFORCE DYAD clutch.
2 coils bad at the same time isn't uncommon lol. I think that’s the only thing that haven't been officially changed. That's the bad part with the s550 coils. It will start your vehicle as should but it may not function 100% as it should. And it's no real definitive way of checking coils besides...
Fouled plugs that are wet points to ignition coil system that isn't firing properly. Those 2 plugs could indeed be the trouble cylinders of the coils. If the new spark plugs doesn't eliminate the misfires then it's your coils as suspected
I always wanted to do a dual setup with nitrous and whipple. I currently have 2015 with the genV 3.0 whipple. I'm going to get a built block with sleeves soon probably from tkm performance. Has anyone ever installed a nitrous kit like this with the whipple?
94 octane fuel should not clog injectors. I'm leaning towards those coils and plugs like originally stated. The coils got worst when you rotated them around or no difference at all. If you put newer plugs in and still no change what so ever then you should be looking at the coils. Your symptoms...
Are you running 91 octane or better or e85?
This started when you was trying to make a pull a day or so ago? The only other thing that haven't been fully eliminated yet is the injectors, if coils are fully functioning, and new plugs? What fuel do you run >91+ or e85? I'm not familiar with the...
Good thing is you can eliminate vacuum leak from the list. I agree with the previous statement to check grounds and any corrosion. Is your battery fully charging? Something is causing this misfire and its even weird that it got worst when you switched coils around. Is fuel pressure solid? Did...
Cheapest non expensive way would be swapping coils around but you could number them with a marker to keep track of the original cylinder you removed them from. Other option would be buying a new set if you can't get a hold of a set to test out.
If there is a leak the idle would change and it...
