Hi All,
I need to replace my right rear (passenger) side brake light/turn signal. I removed the light to get the part number, and there are three part numbers:
Base: FR3B-13B504-A
High: FR3B-13B504-B
Export: FR3B-13B504-C
Does anyone know which one is the correct part number?
I have a 2020...
Got an update from the dealer, secondary timing is good, only have to change secondary timing chain, tensioner and guide. Tensioner was NOT activated on both sides. I have to say the mechanic at my dealer is very good and knowledgeable about the GT350’s
Glad to hear it. I'm still waiting for dealer to take the valve covers off..... Been there almost two weeks now. My engine was running great so I'm guessing the engine is still in time.
I just saw your previous posts, the cylinder head and pistons only need to be changed if you failed leak down test and there was "contact." I wonder how they came to the conclusion that you need new head and pistons if you engine was in time???
Glad you got it back so fast. My dealer won't be able to get to the timing inspection until next week. Did they replace the timing chain, secondary drive tensioner and guide?
It seems like the second attachment with the images might be incorrectly worded, the first document with the labor times is what makes the most sense. Probably no need to replace cylinder head if timing is correct as you mentioned.
Was your timing still good? According to the recall, you cylinder head also has to be replaced in addition to the chain and tensioner. That is if timing is good. If timing is bad and fails leak down test the pistons have to be replaced as well.
They seem to be in stock here:

Ask the dealer if you can bring in your own parts to speed it along. Most...
That is at least 4 motors on this forum built by Jason Altadonna with the same issue. Pretty much confirms it was builder error and not a defective part. Unbelievable that the builder would make the same mistake every work day for a year. I wonder how many engines he ruined, my guess is at least...
To all the guys and gals here that went to the dealer to check activation, please double check for yourselves. My dealer just called me and said that it passed inspection, if you look at my previous post with pictures, you can clearly see it is not activated. I don't know if they are incompetent...
I was thinking the same thing, I have an appointment in the morning. Anyone here have experience with Serramonte Ford? I never take my cars to the dealer, I try to do all the PM myself.
My tensioner is NOT activated. Engine built by John Altodonna. 2,200 miles. Scheduling an appointment the dealer soon. Contemplating driving or towing, dealer is about 5 miles away…..
