Dont feel stupid youre helping me...the stupid one

I'm lost at what to even say at this point. I agree with the statement but these guys are trying to get me to pay for something I didn't agree to. Shouldn't be shaving anything down just to get it to work.

Update: Ford dealer called me and said my shifter wasn't up to spec and I talked to steeda again and they said that we produce 1000s of these and haven't heard of the issue you have. The dealer said they got it to work and shaved down some reverse lockout mechanism (rigged it) to get it to go...

I got a Steeda Technician calling them here soon. Not sure what to expect but yeah I understand that its not rocket science and if it doesn't go well I think I'm going to have to call corporate. The main red flag is that they tried to give it back to me with issues.

The most confusing part is that steeda is working with ford to get these installed at ford dealerships around the states and even sells the shifter.
