Iāve been rocking a twin turbo setup on my 15ā since 2019 and love it. There is no reduction in mileage from stock and you can just bump the boost up or down depending on what youāre doing. I usually keep it between 8-10 psi on 93 and just go anywhere without worrying about chasing fuel stations...
I have 3 verts with my favorite being the 15 GT Premium TT. Itās turned out to be the best driver car even with the turbos. There simply is no better experience than dropping the top when the weather is nice and youāre in a scenic area. I have over 70k on the car now and itās still running strongš
Thanks! Agreed..itās a dynamic color which is why I like it so much. My guard green 15ā is similar in that respect although not so dramatic of a change due to lighting. My first car was a 70ā green Mach 1 that started the love affair for green. It also would change from dark to light but very...
The Dodge in the background is a good friend who survived cancer recently and built his car up to 1200hp range after riding in my turbo vert. He has a fire to live and built his dream carā¦Now we both have our dream carsš
I just picked up a new GT500 in eruption green with CFTP super powers. Found it up north near Buffalo NY and made an epic trip up to grab it with my wife. We hit some bucket list items while there, stayed the night and started our journey back to Texas the next day. It was a killer drive coming...
I just received my plug and play dual pump kit from VMP and they just switched to the DW X2 with 400ās. Itās a nice kit and went on smooth using the DW and VMP instructions/videos.
I asked for the 3ā connections from Hellion and then had a local shop weld on the supplied v band ends and used the XForce 2 1/2x3 reducer. The shop cut off the reducer part and then welded it up. Turned out perfect!
I am building my project right now and I went with the HELLION top mount with 3ā to a new 3ā XForce Varex. Iām hoping to fire up this weekend and see what it sounds like with the turbos. The fit and quality is excellent
FYIāSo I called VMP again today and they said the problem is with the plastic buckets that the pumps are mounted on. They have no idea when any will be available so Iām just going to use my factory bucket and mount them myself after waiting 7 weeks. It wonāt be a plug and play purchase anymore...
They have been saying itās because of Covid but I called them a couple of weeks ago and he said something about waiting for a shipment of buckets. I havenāt been pleased because of the wait and because they have been hard to get ahold of at times and nobody sends me any updates. My car has been...
I ordered the VMP kit almost 2 months ago and still waiting for it to complete my build. Double check when you order to see how long the wait is or youāll be disappointed. I hope the VMP PaP KIT ends up worth it.
