Ride is very subjective, I like normal mode for general driving around Austin, a quick flick of the switch to sport+ from time to time, but the ride is noticeably firmer in sport+, sometimes unpleasantly so.
Right now, as other have said above, I wouldn't entertain buying a Bullitt unless it is something you MUST have.
A new Mach1 yes without ADM, or just sit tight and wait for a market correction.
In spring 20, dealers couldn't shift them, they were offering huge discounts off MSRP on new MY19...
Has anyone changed out the brake pads on their Bullitt? The amount of dust the OEM ones produce is horrible, so looking for recommendations for a relatively dust free alternative
Fast road use only, no track time
Agree really annoying law.
I ran my 2010 for 60k miles around Travis and Wilco and never got stopped for a missing front plate, but when I bought the Bullitt the dealers had already mounted the front plate, so Ive just left it on.
Just realized I was being stupid and reading the wrong section of the manual 5W20 is what it calls for
Thanks for reply, maybe I'll switch to 5w30 at next change
Looking in my owners manual on page 299 it says Motor Oil (US) Motocraft Premium Synthetic blend 5W-30 On my oil filler cap it say 5W20
Just got car back from service and on paperwork it shows they filled it with 10qts of 5W20
Which is correct 5W20 or 5W30
Ive also noticed that since I got...
I went onto YouTube to try to see some videos to see if others were doing the same and then came here.
Will definitely call my service advisor Monday to note it, but since others have said above this is normal I guess I have no cause for concern
But Im 99.9999% sure that gauge never moved...
So weird, this is exactly what happened to me. Just had 2nd oil change on Thursday and on Friday when I went out the oil pressure gauge was acting like it was on a caffeine bump, mild acceleration saw the needle pinned to max the gauge will read
Pulled over as soon as I safely could and checked...
Wasn't purchased as such, but with work from home its turned out that way. Less than 2500 miles in a year, and only got caught once in the rain (the day I took it for first service!!).
Will probably buy a cheap golf GTI as a run around if and when I go back to office, keep the Bullitt as toy...
Perfect summary
The thing is there are days when you just want 1 and 2, fast, quiet, efficient, soul less but very easy. Then there are the days when you want that special something that is hard to put finger on.
Really need to a multi car garage :-)
A small city just outside Austin has 2 black 5.0 virtually unmarked, shadow writing on the side and then the tell tale lights behind grill and upper windscreen
I don't know how the mustang one works specifically, but on many/most European cars when you brake hard it will start the hazard warning lights flashing.
Back in the day, I knew I was "trying" when I got the hazards to flash under braking on the backroads, Anti Lock chirping and hazard warning...
