The steeda + blowfish were too much noise and nvh combined for my liking. The braket with the stock shifter is probably a nice improvement and was likly only designed for that. The steeda itself was an improvement over stock but reading all the positive reviews about the mgw i wanted to see for...
I have a steeda triax short shifter and blowfish bracket i had taken out over the weekend. I went mgw. 50$ each just to get the quick cash. No shipping just pick up.
Do you think the bracket would increase the nvh a lot more also or did you feel it mostly came from the tri-ax? I did notice a good bit more with the triax install but i chalked that up to the stiffer mounts it uses and is still worth it over the sloppy stock.
hey guys. I have a 2017 gt that i did the steeda spring, bg fluid change, and steeda tri-ax short throw shifter. While the shifts are pretty precise and way less sloppy than the stock it still has that disconnected feel from the trans. I like the pull up reverse is why i went steeda. Can the...
I think it may have something to do with the very little side to side play these race shifters have. In nuetral to left there's only about an 1/8" of play to select first gear. 3rd is straight ahead and 5th has double the side play to the right.
i just had the steeda tri ax shifter installed and i have the same problem with 2nd gear downshifts as well as upshifts sometimes. i was curious myself if something was out of adjustment?
I installed ford performance track strut/shocks and bmr sp763 spring kit this weekend. I'm pretty happy with the look with the mild drop and with the new dampers it feels just like stock as far as harshness, but way more planted coing around curves.
I'm Brent for south jersey. I bought my 2017 gt premium magnetic 6sp back in November 2019 and just joined the forum. I look forward to seeing all this site has to offer. From what i seen so far it's a plethora of help and knowledge.
