Hey everyone! I have for sale a “used” Procharger P1X stage two kit for a Gt350. The complete kit was purchased through lethal performance at the end of April 2020 for $8400. I have put roughly 600 miles on, basically just finished the break in process which is 500 miles, and just changed the...
For sale is my 2017 GT350 with a P1X Procharger kit. Currently has 29,000 miles and only 600 of them have been supercharged. I just changed the oil in the head unit for the 500 mile break in period. I am the second owner but I purchased it with 9k miles, so I have put the majority of the miles...
Procharger states oil changes need to happen every 6,000 miles. It’s seriously as simple as it gets and easy. That’s the only maintenance on a Procharger unit.
Procharger ordered from Lethal in last week of April. It was delivered in just shy of two weeks. This was this year during Covid. I don’t know why whipple takes so long but PC does not.
I find It interesting when people say their blower drives like stock until they step on it. I didn’t buy a blower to have it drive like stock.
Sounds like an accurate situation. I’m a firm believer in learning a car’s character and learning to respect it before going full throttle. NA or FI...
Ah okay I understand better now. Well currently I run the canned tune from PC. It’s conservative I feel, but it also hasn’t had any problems since the initial download. I believe it’s a quality tune for it being canned vs custom.
Oh my bad, yes you are right. I got that mixed up, I apologize. Just as you have, I have read several stories on here of people wanting a supercharger kit with a warranty such as Roush. Only to have problem after problem with the tune. They eventually end up going with PBD or Lund for a custom...
Well I guess I will run them until they give out, or maybe I get lucky and they don’t. I plan to put an aftermarket system on it down the road anyways. Since I live in Kansas and we have no emissions regulations, I would go catless for sure. Probably just do the entire exhaust plus headers as...
I will let you guys know what happens later when I replace the plug and get her cleaned up. Wow that looks horrible. Pretty much guaranteed to happen if you are boosted?
In that case the first place I see oil is right at the oil plug and just slightly above it. I checked all around up above but it just looks like it’s getting blown up there when driven from the oil plug. Also it gets blown all the way down the rest of the car making it look bad!
Yes I had the shop change my oil after they installed my Procharger kit back in early May. Only about 1000 miles on it since then. I don’t think they ever worked on a gt350 before but they were the only Procharger dealer I had to choose from. They did very good work on the supercharger install...
I don’t keep updated on the huge Roush Supercharger thread. If you are really interested in that particular blower, pretty much everything you need and want to know should be in that thread I would guess! I believe a lot of those guys like the stage two version. I haven’t heard or read much...
I drove it to work to see if any reading would be abnormal. Before I went, I checked oil and radiator fluid, both were good. When driving to work, I used my Nguage to monitor all my temperatures and readings. All of those were good. But after I shut my engine off at work I got out and a little...
Thank you very much for that detailed write up. I am headed to work now so tomorrow morning when I’m back this is what I will do. What temperature does the differential run usually? According to my Nguage it is running 148 degrees.
