Still not sure, why you want to compare a "basic V8" with a "souped-up 6zyl.". Beside this, the standards are not comparible, like chassis etc.

I was at 287 km/h with my bike >10 years ago. Running into the limiter at 250 km/h with my BMW regularly. Can´t see, why I should go there with one of our Ponys. Those are for cruising.
Damn, you´re so happy to have affordable V8+ like this. I´m really jealous. With our Gen5 2014 V8 and Gen6 2016 Ecoboost we´re considered as mad/misfit in Germany. A GT350 is still my dream - and here we´d have proper possibilities for use... german Autobahn ;-)

"Touring" is different from US to EU... here you would nobody even get think about having a Mustang for "touring". We´re kind of ejected here - as we´re using it also in winter (have to, but invested thousands of EUR to do so). From what I've learned: Mustang is a perfect tourer :like:
