This was my thought too, it wouldn't make sense to me that a worn out clutch stops it from disengaging fully. Do you know if there are any other parts that could be faulty or worn out from use that might cause this? I only have 18,000 miles on the car so I'm hoping it isn't something serious.

After that initial install attempt I tried to do the 1.0 to 2.2 non nav update with a new 64 gig flash drive, and I'm getting an incompatibility error. I'll try again, but I don't seem to be having any luck :/
