  1. Some guys seemingly tried to steal my 19 GT

One option is to put in a kill switch. Place in a location you are happy with, they might give up if they can't find it quickly or don't know to look for it.
  2. Morimoto vs OPT7 Front Sequential Turn Signals

btw, many instructional youtube vids state the car should be jacked up and wheel removed. I installed these with the car on the ground. Crank the wheel to create some open space, Remove 1/2 the wheel well cover, there is more than enough flexibility in that material to hold it open with one...
  3. Morimoto vs OPT7 Front Sequential Turn Signals

Hey Dan, I did look at those, and agree they look great. I would have considered those, but am traveling soon and needed to get it done (CJ's are out of stock). The only downside is that there is no warranty, and they seem to be generic (no mfg listed). Morimonto's have a 5 year warranty...
  4. Morimoto vs OPT7 Front Sequential Turn Signals

I recently installed both Morimonto and OPT7 front sequential turn signals on my 2015. It was a pain in the _ss, so thought I'd post a comment and short vids to show them side by side. Not as good as seeing in person, but better than nothing. Might help help inform someone who's thinking of...
  5. Time/ Expertise Needed to Run Rear Cam in Convertible

Hi Falk03, Got a camera installed over the holiday. Youtube is full of videos of how to remove various parts, so I won't detail that. Just giving you a general idea. It was a pain in the rear, but if you expect that going in, and give yourself plenty of time, it's doable. I used silicone to...
  6. Time/ Expertise Needed to Run Rear Cam in Convertible

Agreed. Too much to go wrong trying to use the stock camera/ stock wiring. I'm planning on trying the install when I get back to Florida in mid-January. If it gets too much for me, I'll take it somewhere like a Car-Toys or similar and have it done. I'll try to remember to post an update...
  7. Time/ Expertise Needed to Run Rear Cam in Convertible

Using the existing camera is possible, and would bypass the need to run new wire. It's a good thought. But cameras now are becoming available that are much higher resolution, helpful to read license plates in case of accidents.
  8. Time/ Expertise Needed to Run Rear Cam in Convertible

No plans for how to mount the rear camera. I've not settled on which one to buy yet, but I expect they will provide something. I don't want to drill any holes. Being in Florida, exposed metal surfaces corrode. As I have a convertible, I'm looking at the traffic cams that attach over the...
  9. Time/ Expertise Needed to Run Rear Cam in Convertible

Hi, I have a 2015 GT convertible, and would like to run wire for a dedicated traffic camera near the rear license plate. That could be easy, a screwdriver and an hour, or it could be brutal if holes have to be drilled and wire fishtaped thru. I don't know if I should try this myself, or just...
