I had a 2015 with a 6r80 before my current pp2 and I did a lot of stuff including 3.73 gears. I did 2018 intake manifold injectors and a tune I was planning on pro charging it at some point then I sold it for my pp2 the 3.73 are a really good gear ratio for the 6r80 enjoy!
I can’t speak for the gt350 mani but when I still had my 2015 I put on a 2018 manifold with lockouts and the gt350 throttle body. For me it made sense because it was essentially free to do minus the tune. My dad had put a pd blower on his 2019 pp2 (I since bought that car from him). But for the...
Before I did my Barton shot throw I ran the Barton two post shifter bracket and it helped but I’m am still so happy I took it off and put on a Barton hybrid 3.
Look man I didn’t come here to get in a massive argument. I told you what happened to me, there’s tons of documentation about issues with the roush tune on these blowers available to read on the forums. You are the only one I have ever seen saying the roush calibration is the best and that is...
There really isn’t more to the story the roush tune runs hot and those 47 lb/hr injectors are undersized for boost even on gas. The roush tube is categorically awful you can look anywhere on the forums on this. They should get a new tune. You’re entitled to your own opinion about that though...
It may work for some the roush tune starved my car of gas and they would not honor the warranty. Since they won’t do the warranty i recommend getting off the roush tune asap. Thats just my experience though.
There’s no need to upgrade the di injectors. I would however upgrade the top injectors even more the stock roush tune starved my engine of fuel and I had to replace the motor. I now have a built rpg block i upgraded the port injectors to 1050x and I’m getting tuned by Koby at PBD so far it’s...
I upgraded to 3.73 in my 2015 auto car and loved them it pulled hard. But my 2019 manual is boosted and has 3.73’s I can’t wait to swap in the 3.31’s I have laying around because I want to stay in boost longer
Gotcha then drive on! I've just been dealing with the headaches of an engine rebuild from RPG and wanted to spread some cation. I have done everything possible now and hopefully my car will be driving soon!
Careful with the phase 2 it blew my motor and everyone pointed fingers didnt end up getting covered under warranty, bigger injectors, vmp triple pass, and a new tune go a long way to helping that blower.
I have the flat stick Barton, and I went that way for a couple reasons. 1. Looks, I think it looks better than the stock look and way better than the mgw(my opinion everyone has their own preference). 2. Versatility, it’s my first stick car and I wasn’t sure if I’d like the transmounted way so I...
boosted with the barton hybrid 3 never had any lockout issues, I have a flat stick though idk if thats different from your issue.
edit: im also trans mounted and I track the car
I have a pp2 but wanted to run some gt350 wheels daily so I can keep track day tires on the pp2 wheels. I’m running 305/30 19 because I’m used to that from the pp2 wheels and I put 8 mm spacers on the rears to push them out a small bit. So far so good!
i just got my self a few new things i can't wait to put on
i got a dss carbon fiber driveshaft, dss half shafts, lethal performance lpxhd clutch, and a corsa extreme double h pip catback. I cant wait!
