They were warmed up but track temp and prep was not good. The biggest limiting factor was the 3.73 gearing though, I was hitting the limiter in 4th gear well before the traps.
I have a whipple stage 2 similar power levels and 305 45 18 nitto NT05r tires. My best pass last year was slipping the clutch at 2500 rpms (1.8 60ft) I tried going up from there a few times but just spun, track conditions were cold and not well prepped. I did have gt350 half shafts, not sure...
Interesting, there’s a lot of high horsepower cars on here but not a lot of sharing when it comes to alignment specs. Maybe I’m over thinking it.
Where you in factory specs before and saw a noticeable decrease in traction? Are you talking specifically at launch, what about high speed stability?
Looking for advice on what to target for my alignment. Thought about putting this in the drag section but figured there would be more views here. Searches around but could t really find a great answer in other threads. The basics were to have some negative toe in the rear and camber closer to...
Install seems high but not outrageous, typical shop rate is around 90 USD. OPG and blower install I would guess around 16hrs is what they would quote. As someone who did the install of both in my garage I wouldn’t be afraid of doing the install your self. The caveat being that I wouldn’t...
I have 3” xforce cat back, it is just a touch louder then stock. Very tame. I went that way because it has a resonated x pipe and I knew I was going to delete the cats at some point with my blower. I installed cat deletes this winter but have not fired it up yet.

I’m running a 305 45 18 on forgestar 18x10s. Stock suspension with plenty of room, planning on adding drag springs before spring and don’t anticipate problems. Pic for reference, obviously not he best angle for rear tire clearance. Interested in @SteedaTech reply.
I’m sure it would, the length will provide plenty of leverage to overcome the tensioner. I’ve changed pullies without messing with the over flow tank using a breaker bar but I have a steeda overflow tank.
For sure sounds like the clutch. Drive down the road at 45 in 4th gear, apply break pressure and gas at the same time and see if the rpms start to climb as the car slows.
Stage 2 Whipple and OPG/CS in my garage on jack stands. Nothing difficult, with the Whipple and some of the best instructions I’ve dealt with. Nothing hard with the OPG/CS, just anxiety producing since the consequences are high. If you follow the service manual it is not physically hard...
Going to guess your not going to get a ton of first hand info on this forum. The aftermarket setups are so proven and reliable that most people don’t piece together setups like DOB. I was intrigued by to DOB setup but ultimately decided to go with a Whipple setup.
