  1. Grass is not always greener

I just wanted a fun daily / street car. That’s what I had in my mustang and I hurt a lot of feelings in it. Didn’t necessarily want to make massive power but I enjoy a roll race and thought I could take the platform further but when you really get down to it without meth/ 100 octane and built...
  2. Grass is not always greener

Literally the most basic of ideas. Integrate it into the dash or do something different. Looks like it was slapped up there. Rest of the interior is pretty nice 👍🏼
  3. Grass is not always greener

Infotainment is about the same. I like the different mapped options that you can easily modify like suspension, transmission mapping and a few other things. The dash and seats are beautiful for sure. Carbon interior and really pretty leather amg seats. Looks like this
  4. Grass is not always greener

Thanks bro! I appreciate it. Wrapped it, had the headlights hand painted and blacked out, and a lot of little details went into it.
  5. Grass is not always greener

Recently did a Porsche turbo s track experience. Probably going the wrong way 😂😂😂
  6. Grass is not always greener

Really wanted to stray from American muscle and have had turbo cars in the past that responded well to minimal mods. Just really surprised at how much work and trouble these cars can be. Might sell and GT500. Car is worth 75k stock. I’ve put a lot into the wrap and other mods. We’ll see. Love...
  7. Grass is not always greener

Ya I’m weistech tuned. Aftermarket support is not as great and costs a lot. I’m already 10k into this car doing all labor myself. No one runs E85 or tunes for it. It’s all 100 octane and meth, which I hate. Would much rather upgrade fuel system and run e85 than meth. Parts are limited. Figured...
  8. Grass is not always greener

Just wanted to post this as I’ve been very disappointed from my switch to AMG from my Mustang GT. I had a 17 with a Paxton Kit making 650whp with colder plugs, voltage fuel pump booster, on 91 with octane booster vmp tuned. Car had so much potential. Tuning process was so simple. No CEL after...
  9. Code P2005 after Paxton install

So I added a check valve to the stock position and direction. Before i was getting codes P2005, P2006, and P2007. Now I’m just getting P2006. Car runs fine and pulls super hard. No accel or stutter issues at all. They appear to be normal on the logs. Should I just lock them out and have the...
  10. Whipple install easier than Procharger?

I went with a Paxton and did OPG at the same time. OPG took the longest 1-2 days partly because my gear puller broke and I was waiting on another one. After it was all back together Paxton install only took me 5-6 hours at most. I know they’re pretty similar installs. And I’ve had NO false knock...
  11. Paxton 17 GT project

drag strip for sure!! But I need a MT drag setup. My street radials aren’t doing it even being 305s nittos first gear is ehhh.... it’s not great even with this being a centri the torque delivery is actually pretty insane even with 3.15 gears. I haven’t noticed lag at all like people describe...
  12. Code P2005 after Paxton install

Hey guys after my Paxton install on my 17 GT with an 18 manifold I started getting code P2005 and occasionally p2006 only after WOT pulls. Electronic gauge is seeing 10-12 psi so it kind of makes sense. I’ve kept stock vacuum routing and on the logs my IRMCs are functioning normally under daily...
  13. Paxton 17 GT project

Only one CEL from pulling the battery, cleared and no further issues or CELs. Fired right up and sounds insane 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Exhaust note has definitely changed when revving and I’m here for it haha. Sent my first log off and got the ok for WOT to 6.5k, car seems crazy happy. Definitely needs a wash...
  14. Paxton 17 GT project

Plugs are in, injectors are in, UPR catch can installed, JLT intake installed. tomorrow I’m cleaning up vaccum lines, installing the BAP, and the rest of the engine covers and turning it over 🤞 if all goes well and I didn’t fuck anything major up tune revisions tomorrow and dyno in the next week...
  15. [?] '18 Intake Manifold on '15-'17

A few random questions. 17GT with 18 manifold currently installing a Paxton. Why does an auto car need to keep the aspirator (grey and black check valve) can I just run brake booster to vac 1, purge solenoid to vac 2, and what do my IRMCs need to function? I can T into either purge or brake...
  16. Paxton 17 GT project

Hahaha definitely what I meant good looking out brother 😂😂 trying to post at 3AM doesn’t end well 😂😂😂
  17. Paxton 17 GT project

Going from FBO NA to Ported 18 manifold, VMP BAP, IDX 1050 injectors, 3.6 pulley Paxton, boundary OPG/CS, and awaiting my NGK 6510 gapped to 0.28 to wrap it all up. I have the UPR catch can and JLT intake to install and some vac lines to finish but this is my progress so far! Spark plugs will be...
  18. FBO E85 OPG result

These are factory 5 years old with 50k miles, I genuinely wasn’t surprised there was scoring. Cleaned the housing and threw in a set of boundary 🤷‍♂️
  19. FBO E85 OPG result

FBO, E85, ported 18 manifold, revved to 7850 pretty often for the past year or so and i missed shifts and slammed the limiter a few times as well lol. Pulled these the other day and they look great! Probably more of a FI worry than anything I guess 🤷‍♂️
  20. P0019 code ??? Whipple/OPG install

I’m kind of curious about this. Let’s say your RH was taken off appropriately, then your LH was taken off with the keyway at 4 o’clock instead 5 o’clock as they’re very close. Then you put everything back on appropriately and hand turn the engine without any issues. Would this small of a...
