I wanted to do the BMR minimum drop springs, but didn't want to have to change several pieces out on a 4k mile car just yet. Bought a set of the SVE springs (which are basically unbranded eibach sportlines), and tossed them under my car for the time being. Rides excellent, not much changed from...
Wife works with a guy (same company/field, located over 100 miles apart), who got it. He said he woke up, and felt like hel . Hit him like a ton of bricks. Went to hospital because of all that's going on, and tested positive, and was admitted..this was on a Friday afternoon, intubated and...
I traded my '14 gt for my '19. The '19, without a question is the way better car. '14 had everything BMR under it, and handled great, was a mt82 (that was problem free), and I loved that car. My '19, is my first auto mustang, and man..kinda boring, way faster, way more comfortable, and easier to...
She also doesn't drive her car as hard as I drive mine, so hers feels a little stumbly sometimes when you use the modes (she never does), so the few tines I have ripped on it playing around, it actually plants the tires pretty well until it shifts..where mine will blow them off rolling pretty...
Spins until traction control intervenes, if you have it on. I was making that poat towards the guy who said he drove a 3.15 gear a10, and it wouldn't bark the factory 235's in drag mode, but his 3.55 car was somehow blisteringly faster or something.
3.15 geared car felt slower, because it would barely chirp the factory tires..give me a break. Bone stock 3.15 gear car in the video, annihilating 305 nittos from a 10ish mph roll on. My wife has the identical car on factory 235 tires, and 3.15's, and it'll set traction control off on 3-4 shift...
25&24lbs. They discontinued them, which is why I held on to them. I'll eventually buy something different wheel wise, but I will hold onto these. Kind of attached to them. Tires are 265/35/20 alnd 305/30/20 so I kept 27.2" tire height.
Side note, funny you say it looks lowered, springs I have...
Thanks. Ruby red, had it decontaminated, polished, coated, etc immediately after buying it. Totally changed how the color looks. I have springs to lower it, just waiting for free time to tackle that task. Lipped wheels on s550's are kind of a rare choice, I love my lipped wheels lol.
Yes, that 3,650 was bone stock exhaust, stock everything. I traded my '14, and swapped the wheels on the '19, everything else as I bought it. 20x9 20x10 sve series 2 wheels.
My 301a 10 speed '19 with 3.15 gears, chrome 20's, and half a tank of gas was right ~3650. I have since ditch the stock exhaust, so hopefully, that negates some of that lol. As an aside, my 2014 gt weighed 3,580 on the same scale, same wheels, everything bmr sales, bassani exhaust, and a 13.5 jl...
Laid off, but still has youtube revenue. He's not totally out of a job.
That said, it sounds like this guy has way too much debt tied up in stupid bullshit, and an economic shakeup would be a good reality check for him. I bought 2 brand new gt's, that combined with my f150, the payments total...
My '19 a10 car is stock, and kill traction control, it will break 305 nittos loose all the way past 70. Cooler weather, breaks them loose pretty easily under 50. I mean, it doesn't feel fast, but as I've said before..it has out run 2 of my buddies who have 118mph trap coyotes, so it definitely...
My mt82 2014 gt ran decent, real well in face. 12.30 car asit sat, base model with a bunch of suspension work, weighed 3,450 without me in it. Felt like a fox behind the wheel. Bought my a10 2019 gt, and man, while it's about the most boring acceleration, the '19 blows that '14 away in every...
My 301a car weighs 3650 on 20's. Not really as heavy as I would have thought. I like the modes, but today was the first time I've put the shifter in S, and not used the paddles, tossed it in track mode, and honestly, the shifting in that mode, gear holds, etc..is about perfect. Normal mode is...
I've got a regular cab 2016 f150 with the 3.5 in it. It's at 42k miles now, if/when that ever hapoens, I'm just dropping a 5.0 in it. I've got no plans to drop that sort of coin on this motor. Sucks to hear about your luck though.
I use drag mode for any sort of playing around. Spirited/daily driving, I use track. Sport+, atleast in my car seems to want to hang in a gear way too long. Or..too low of a gear way too long, track is a happier medium IMO. For roll racing, drag mode, select shift, toggle down to the gear I...
