  1. Start button not working after Sync 1 to Sync 3 (4" to 8") Swap

There is two wires that tap into the can- bus that you aren't connecting by doing your bypass method. I would really recommend doing it right by adding the wires. But to each their own.
  2. Start button not working after Sync 1 to Sync 3 (4" to 8") Swap

If you leave the harness unplugged the unit won't have the can-bus communication it's tapping into.. my unit seemed fully functional with it unplugged but it's very easy to add the wires and have it done correctly. Don't skimp out now haha
  3. Start button not working after Sync 1 to Sync 3 (4" to 8") Swap

That's actually what my brother did for his car since he also bought two different conversion harnesses trying to make them work. The pins are a little tricky to get out but I'm sure you'll figure it out. You can buy the tool to release electrical pins from Amazon for cheap worst case.
  4. Start button not working after Sync 1 to Sync 3 (4" to 8") Swap

The connector that I circled in blue needs all the empty pins connected. It's the pigtail that connects the radio bezel to the conversion harness. I had wire on hand as well as the pins. Once they are added into the harness it works 100%. The wires go straight across to the other side so you...
  5. Start button not working after Sync 1 to Sync 3 (4" to 8") Swap

I've figured out why it doesn't work. The harness is missing the wires for the start button. They are very easy to add them and took me a couple minutes.

Awesome can't wait! I was looking for an excuse to jump to E85 lol
  7. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

My plan is to stay 700-750 so the L1 should do?
  8. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

Thank you for the clarification. I was looking around and a aftermarket kit isn't much more anyways.
  9. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

Awesome I'll take a look when comparing to other options. Thank you for the guidance! I'll give an update after I try some octane booster regarding the knock and give an update and new log.
  10. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

You think just swapping to the gt350 fuel pumps is enough for e85? Basically no return style system just a fuel pump swap?
  11. Bought a new oil separator for the Vortech/paxton

Did you just block off the intake manifold port?
  12. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

I do have E85 about 30 minutes away and wouldn't mind going that route. I guess I'd have to start looking for a return style system since I don't think my JMS bap and DW95 injectors with my stock fuel system wouldn't support e85.
  13. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

VP booster I've heard good things about. I'll give it a try. I appreciate the memory jog.
  14. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

I really think my fuel is total crap here in northern Florida. I will try some octane booster and go from there. What are some recommended octane boosters? I assume boostane is one?
  15. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

What kind of fuel do you run on that setup?
  16. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

I also am on 93 and see about 18* timing. It won't allow me to directly upload a data log. My tuner isn't taking it seriously and it's a huge tuning company. I agree that knock should be addressed specially when you are running very similar stuff and aren't seeing any.
  17. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

Thanks for the info that really gave me a place to start. When I did the log I was in 3rd gear revving 3k till red line. It shows between 4k and 5.5k is where the positive knock is popping up.. I know like Furious18 said centrifugal superchargers can cause some false knock but would like to be...
  18. Paxton S550 Acceptable Knock range on datalog?

Hey all! I have a 16 GT with a Paxton blower. Im new to tuning and reading data logs and was wondering what would the normal knock range be for this general set-up? Im seeing about +1.5 at a few points on the log but generally im always at 0 or negative which I know is good and allows for timing...
