    They seem to hold well (10L90 per GM’s code). We have had troubles with them holding 7th gear when making over 800wtq (unless a PC car where it doesn’t hit as hard so low). Raybestos is finally offering clutches for them which seem to do the trick. Would like to compare the two side by side though

    Interestingly enough, there are no bands in the 10R80, strictly clutches. The transmission is like one of those dolls in a doll in a doll... but it’s just clutches and steels. Seems complicated with all the different clutches but very simple operation (in theory)
