Thanks for all the replies guys. Looking into things further, the GT is off the table due to the higher purchase price. I should be able to get about 19K for the Outback selling it privately if I'm patient enough - so that's the budget here.
I kind of prefer the look of the 15-17 over the 18...

I've watched countless YouTube videos and read many posts about "actual" MPG, but I've yet to get a concrete answer for MPG cruising at 80MPH for both the V6 and V8 S550.
