So, long story short, I went down from the 4.35 pulley to a 4.10 pulley. Still felt like I wanted more power, so I dropped down again to a 3.85. Also, I purchased the BAP and had Rob Shoemaker from PBD remotely tune the car. I had it dyno'ed on the 4.10 pulley and was just shy of 600 to the...
At the moment, I have all stock fuel components. Would you happen to have any idea on what the 2018's can handle at the wheels or boost pressure before requiring a BAP and/or upgraded injectors? How much of a change did you see from the 4.0 to 3.7 to 3.5?
I did verify that the stock pulley for my kit is indeed 4.38". The Procharger tech said that on the 4.38", it should make 6.5lbs. For now, i'll go down 2 sizes and see where that gets me with a custom tune. Upgrading the fuel components is on my list of things that will eventually happen, but...
I did have the shop check for leaks and i've made sure everything is 100% tightened. I figured a leak would show some variance in the boost pressure instead of a steady increase. As in the leak would probably get worse as the pressure built up. You're right about that, but i'd rather pulley down.
Will atmospheric conditions cause the pressure to vary by 1.3lbs or more? I didn't realize that it could be such a drastic change. I appreciate the feedback and will most likely drop the pulley down.
I think the pulley sizes might be different because the 18+ cars have a larger diameter balancer. I guess I will give them a call and see what they say.

It was the dynojet. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope there is someone here that can help. I assume you had the 4.38 pully as well?
Did you just pulley down to accommodate for it?
Hello Everyone,
First and foremost, i'm new to the community, but have spent quite some time reading various threads. I am in need of a little bit of help from members that have experience with a Procharged 2018 Mustang GT. I will try to provide as much details as possible to reduce the number...
