  1. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

that seems most likely, but where did you get confirmation of No 21?
  2. Significant questions about GT350

same engine but block is different.
  3. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

not saying there isn't feedback, steering feel is there but not as much as I'd expect and like. I'm talking about that initial turn in and entry into a corner specifically on track, not necessary just what you feel from the road. It certainly does its job but could be better, though hard to do...
  4. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

unfortunately we didn't get the chance to look at how they are different side by side, just got couple laps in the 20s and I've tracked with a 19 R a couple times before so I just made a comparison based on what I felt driving them.
  5. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

well i'm not in the 'worth it' club in the beginning and also thought theres no real improvement until I drove the car. I think worth it or not is dependent on the person, realistically that little change for 5k is hard to justify, but after driving the car, the 20 R convinced me that there is...
  6. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

pretty sure FP said in an interview that the new 2019 gt350 updates can be retrofitted to previous models. But don't think any official word has been said about the 20 R changes, since it requires alot of work to retrofit for some minor improvements, don't think most R owners will bother.
  7. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

i know the 19s have the updated block, the B&O for sure as part of the tech package with puddle lamps and stuff, and the brakes. The 19 R also got an updated ABS and brake calibration same as the 20 Rs but different from the previous model years.
  8. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

Yes you're right, the 19s are solid too.
  9. 19 R vs 20 R differences/thoughts

just recently drove a 2020 gt350r, thought i'd share little driving impression vs the 19 R 2020 R updates are suspension changes. Many including me thought FP just did it to streamline production and its not worth the price increase. Since now I drove it, there is a little bit difference worth...
  10. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

Yea sorry i meant to quote PP0001 lol. Not quite used to the forums yet.
  11. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

I'm just very very curious, why did you have a 2016, 2017 and 2018 R? Do you buy one every year??
  12. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

dont get how one can say the change is "desirable" when no one tested and no one drove the new car yet. the best way to say it at this point is the change is going to be different, of course not going to be worse (well might be a possibility) but i have faith in FP... but its not going to be...
  13. 19 & 20 GT350Rs available!!

Hello Friends, As many of you know 2020 Rs are rare especially for Canadian friends with only 10 coming across Canada. However with the slight price increase for 2020s, the 19 Rs are also desirable to many people. I have a buddy at Ford and we have 2 brand new 19 350Rs (1 black 1 ruby red...
  14. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

go ahead and say my argument's all over the place when its just you that don't get it. It's honestly not that hard to understand. what I meant with this statement "Most of the 19 changes to the base car was from the R" was they did the changes to the 19 350 based on their experience (lessons)...
  15. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

you obviously didn't get it. The 19 updates to the base car is what they learned from the R, just look at the grill and aero they did. They obviously can't make the same car... (you honestly think they will have a same wing and spoiler?) then what is the point of having a gt350 and a gt350r...
  16. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

honestly ive been waiting since 2015 for the R as well. Ive been looking forward to 2020 R for so many years hoping it would had significant changes worth the wait and price, but of course that didn't end well. I always knew the R was a very capable car pushed to the limits thus really hard to...
  17. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

19 350 and 20 R changes are very different. The 19 350 changes are actually substantial that can benefit the car in every way unlike the 20 R changes. It looked like ford truly wanted to improve the 19 350 and for the 20 R they just threw what they can save money on and gave it a tune to make it...
  18. Is a 2019GT350R worth the extra vs the 2019GT350

The R changes are subtle but makes a big difference. Generally the 19 gt350 is good enough for daily use and occasional track days. The R was always for someone who often goes to track therefore the CF wheels and the unique tuning. So depends on what you are going to do with your car to see if...
  19. Official 2020 GT350R Changes: New Colors and GT500 Suspension + Steering

@Greg35 like another member mentioned, many are worried about the crisp steering feel being affected by them retuning the steering and trying to solve the tramlining. The tramlining can be annoying but it is because our original steering is so direct and sensitive that we feel changes in road...
  20. Official 2020 GT350R Changes: New Colors and GT500 Suspension + Steering

honestly the changes are pretty disappointing. It's a change for the sake of saving money at the production line not a change for improvement... Ford did this to streamline gt500 production so they don't have to produce two blocks... Those who driven the R knows how good the current setup is...
