On my 01 gt I ran xp10 on front and 8s on the rear. Awesome. Street too although not daily.

I started HPDE with stock pads in 03, moved up to hawk in 06 and cut stopping distance in half moved to Carbotech in 10 and cut it in half again. They last forever. Now as an instructor I focus on stopping distance. My next ride will have Brembos and carbotech.

Im 70 and I teach driving fast in Mustangs. Here I am doing some laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway in my old 01 GT (sold it last year, now looking for newer).......Bill ....it had 4.11 gears, a chip, and quick shift shifter. I would put to the floor in the middle of turn 2 and lift at turn 4...
