With the VMP tune on 93 only it made 702rwhp. It runs much better now than it did and pulls ridiculously above 4000rpm. I run boostane now as well. My ass dyno says probably 750ish. I'm extremely satisfied. I don't have a dyno near me to run it on but I'll run it if I get the opportunity someday.
I second this, 3 trips to VMP and was told I was the problem. Wengard tuned my car remotely and runs amazing. The one thing I believe you will see if you dig around is Daryle is phenomenal, responsive and has no negative experiences from customers on here. He's also fixed quite a few VMP tunes.
I live in the Savannah Georgia area and usually see 30 to 40 degrees over ambient running and 50 to 60 over in traffic. I think an airbox lid would help but not sure that enough air could be drawn from the grille under boost. I'm not an engineer however.
Does anyone know if something like the grimmspeed exhaust valve eliminator plug is made for the 2018 and up GT? All I've found is the awe bracket and the grimmspeed plug for the GT350.
No idea, very frustrating and probably between renting trailers, fuel and paying for Wengerd to tune it correctly it cost me well over $1000 and 4 months of grief.
So after seeing what he did on David's Odin setup and after 3 trips to VMP one remote tune from Daryl and the car is night and day different. My car is a manual and the drivability and power is spot on. I'm sending him logs to fine tune but honestly after a VMP dyno tune and at least 8 revisions...
Even if I have to have him tune it remotely and buy an new ngauge I'm fine with that. Maybe I'll take a trip Nashville is nice to visit. Thanks for your help.
This is exactly what my car is doing. Mine is a manual but same exact scenario, bucks and surges and causes my foot to make it worse. I rode with Mike at VMP and I truly believe they are trying to fix it for me but they are still working on it. He was in the car with me driving and logging it on...
Changing the subject a little, finally got my car mostly sorted out. VMP has been helpful and patient. Chuck, Mike, Paul, Jesse and everyone there has gone above and beyond. 3rd throttle body from a new batch, losing the cats and adding boostane make a huge difference. The boostane alone makes a...
