I installed the FP springs a few years ago and immediately noticed the creaks when backing out of the garage and going slow over bumps. Never have been able to diagnose or fix. I have run into other owners with those springs and they say that they have the same noises. I just ignore it now…

Kevin - I run carbotech pads on my GT350. I run 4-5 HPDEs a year (Barber, Road Atlanta, AMP) and do multiple hard mountain drive runs. My rear brakes squeak and squeal terribly. Is it something to live with or can I try copper brake lube, etc. without compromising high temp performance?

Not the oldest, I’m 59. I’ll be doing my 4th track day this year in a couple of weeks. Hope I can still hit the track for another 10 years.

Love the Cherohala Skyway. Wayah Road west of Franklin up to Nantahala is a good drive and then “Moonshiner” 28 from east of Almond down to Franklin is also a good run. If you have time continue East to Highlands on 64 and then take 28 south into South Carolina.

I am currently running Carbotechs XP10 and XP12 with Motul DOT4 BF. This is the first time I’ve run RA with this combo.

Pushed her hard at JZilla Friendsgiving at Barber Motorsports Park. Frigid start, but turned into beautiful day. Last track day until Spring. First track day with my new Schroth harness. One of my favorite mods.

@Mjc1241 - I will check the strut mounts. I did have the track alignment done after the parts were installed. I checked tonight and do see some evidence of metal to metal contact between the BMR brace and the adjacent stock plate - no pics but you can see what I am talking about in Stangtimes...

Returned home from 500 mile driving trip through north Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina with a few old friends and our sons. Admired the dirt, grime and bugs before I put her away.

I went yesterday from 8-10ish. I saw the SC Avalanche Grey, but didn’t run into anyone else. So many cars and people - was a little nuts.

Technically yesterday, Dragon Rally XVIII with Smoky Mountain Drives. 250+ miles, 4 states, 6 hours of seat time. Glorious Fathers Day trip with my son and a couple of other Mustang owners.

Technically Saturday - 240 miles with Smoky Mountain Drives “Dragon Rally XVII.” Dragon, Cherohala, Wayah, etc. 6 hours in the drivers seat. Glorious day!
