Hey buddy, I'm so sorry for late reply for some reason I was not getting notifications. After going through everything I realized the best thing is to remove the whole chrome trim and put some foamy tape behind the vents and then you put the Chrome trim back, it would snug the vents. I did not...
Hi guys, hope you are all well and safe.
Since I bought the car in 2019 I noted a lot of dash rattles. I fixed the main one where the ac vents were and the chrome strip that covers most of the dash.
The main one that is bothering me the most is the chrome looking rings on the analog...
I don't have a lot of experience but if you go by the book my clutch release and the shifting is pretty accurate . I think my main issue is I'm not used to revving out any of my cars and I've always had automatics as daily driver so maybe that's why I'm a little hesitant to rev out this car and...
I know one thing I've always wondered if revving out engines can wear them out quickly? I'm sure it will because of the heat and friction. But I know that how many of a manual transmission there's no way around other than revving the engine.
I'm not mashing my gas at all honestly. I feel like revving the engine feels unnatural to me since I have not done that with previous cars that I have owned. I just feel like from first to second gear car feels so slow that I got tailgated sometimes but cars that are automatic.
I think you nailed it on that thought. This is my first manual V8, and maybe I'm so used to the low end torque. Plus in my muscle memory I'm not used to reving my cars.
Tread is almost brand new. The car only has 7K miles and I mostly done highway driving. If I can describe it the first to second gear I feel like it's very sluggish but then after that it picks up the speed really well.
I don't think it's the clutch because I've always baby the car and only has 7,000 miles on it. Maybe it's a base model and I don't have any driving modes?
I know this has been answered many times however I still feel that my manual 2019 GT feels slow / sluggish when starting from a red light for an example. Only has 7k miles. I feel like the only way I can make it go faster is when I rev it hard however I feel like that's too much to do every time...
Honestly I was so anti-electric but when you consider the technological options they offer and how it makes your life so much easier by syncing with your phone it's something to consider.
In my mind I always think of sports cars as two seater roadsters which are agile and fast like my 350z. My mustang GT is fast no doubt but I don't know if I can call it a true sports car. It's not as agile as a roadster and ofcourse very heavy and big giving it a true GT character. I love the...
I know the feeling. No doubt the Porsche is an amazing machine and maybe better than the mustang objectively but again it boils down to what you enjoy. I actually enjoy the mustang more on the streets at low speeds.
This is quite interesting.. do you think these engines need more break in period. Also I personally never really reved the car past 5k since I have been driving it for 6k miles.
I never really thought I would need to add oil so I didn't check it that often. How much do you think I need from bottom hole to the middle of the two hours. Like half a quart? Btw I baby this car. Never redlined it. So that is why I was worried if it's normal to burn oil.
