Just from most of your reply’s tells me you haven’t bothered to go to Burger tuning, that’s fine, I’ve been using his product for over a year without a glitch, if I decide to go to a bigger turbo then I’ll get a pro tune, oh and by the way I am way out of warranty, it was never a concern of mine...
There was a pic of a cracked Ford repop wheel someone posted a while ago just from normal road service and yes the couple of failures of P51’s were on track cars...I personally would not be afraid to run these on the street , if treated right ( avoid curbing, chuckholes) I don’t think you should...
NXT’s with resonator probably 5 or so without resonator 7 with some drone @ 2500–3500 under power. For me, I thought they were perfect with a resonator. The Rev9 full cutback I just put on is about a 3, keep in mind I also have a CVF catted downpipe
If for anything else, the CC is beneficial in keeping oil vapors to a minimum in the intake charge reducing the octane rating, an important thing for Ecoboosts. Catch cans are made for many direct injected engines ...for a reason, just as someone stated earlier, the factory doesn’t add them...
Strut mounts came with my Ford performance struts, used maybe 50 miles until I went with adjustables..50.00. UPR 0-100 lb. check valve 5/8 inch, ordered the wrong size, Ne Er used. 40.00 shipped.. does not fit the stock UPR dual vale catch can...
I have a catted CVF catted downpipe, great product, easy install...I still have the stock resonator with axle back mufflers which gives(to me anyway) perfect balance of sound. I believe it took me about 45 minutes for install and fit was spot on.
Just to clarify, the BSD isn’t necessary , but for me being tuned I think that would help eliminate or reduce the risk of ventilating the block. The head gasket, well that is another issue altogether, though if you are basically stock I think a catch can , good gas and regular oil changes is a...
Proven or not, a couple theories about longevity for me...catch can...I know it’s controversial but I put a JLT on my used Eco at 43,000 miles, all good except a little soot on the tail pipes when I went to wash .After some research I went with a UPR dual valve catch can with a gutted PCV, now...
