The MMR tensioner is junk and so is the company. The 350 tensioners are the same style as the boss 302 tensioner that Ford Performance sells and used in the Cobra Jet cars. It's also what everyone used to switch too before the "billet" ones from MMR. I can't imagine there is much if any...
The CX kit was designed around an MT82 which is much narrower than the 6R and 10r. The only change I see is to the wastegate dumps it's a small change but needed. This is why I doubt cx would bother redesigning the kit.
I know their base model is designed for only 1 turbo, even their exa can't handle the two??? I've used them before on a mid-mount with zero issues and that same pump is still going.
I'm still working on a one stop everything in one spot for 15-17 cars and what will need to be done with the option to change from the CX turbos to Borgs once I find out what will fit.
I'm also switching to Dwerks injectors though I can still get ID's and VMP for tuning.
I'm also looking to...
They are huge and I can't imagine it would be easy getting air to them under the car without them being below the frame rail. A top mount using some type of fresh air feed would be the best for those.
Yes they are 300s. I’d be curious how big can fit. I know people have managed Comp 67s under there.
I don’t see oil being pushed and pumped into the pan having issues with starvation, using coolant to keep the turbos cool if sharing the engine coolant system without serious upgrades while...
After knocking down 1400 with 62/74 SX-E's on the shop drag car, I'm strongly leaning towards them. I'll probably use a turbowerx pump. Excited to see what she can do for you!
I'm a dealer for CX Racing and have purchased the hotside as well and plan to test it out on a 15-17 6R80 car. We are currently deciding if we should run comp oiless/borg sx-e's/CX 67's. If there's enough interest I'm sure we can work something out with them, my hopes was to assemble a basic...
