  1. Back from getting OptiCoat ceramic yesterday.

If ypu store your car outdoors, ceramic coatings are probably a good idea. If the car is garaged, why not just wax it? You need to keep it clean anyways right? Seems to me a Ceramic would make more sense on a work truck or something.
  2. Back from getting OptiCoat ceramic yesterday.

What happens if you get swirls in your paint when its ceramic coated? Can't polish it or wax it. Do you have to chemically remove the coating and do it all over again?
  3. Proper Break-in of any engine

I will say its probably 100x more important to warm up the engine 100% before revving it out. You will do WAY more damage to a cold engine than breaking it in "wrong"
  4. Proper Break-in of any engine

SO MANY different opinions on break in.Its like religion. So many different religions who is to know which one is actually right? Everybody believes something but everyone can't be right. I don't think break in matters much unless you are bouncing off the rev limiter repeatedly right away. I...
  5. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

All options except the gurney flap package. I got the comfort seats. Glad i did. They are awesome! Car matches my Roush F250 perfect. Great color!
  6. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

Mine showed up yesterday!!! Tracking still says awaiting shipment but i have the car! There was a lot of junk on the paint from sitting around where they must have stored these cars. Cleaner wax got most of it off and its fine now. Holy hell is this car good to drive!!! I've owned and driven...
  7. Back from getting OptiCoat ceramic yesterday.

Not much prep needed on a brand new car. Thats when most people are getting it done. There are products like Meguires ceramic wax that work great and may not last as long but can be applied in 5 minutes after washing the car. Spray on wet, polish off with microfibers. Stays good for 4-6 months...
  8. Back from getting OptiCoat ceramic yesterday.

Ceramic coatings are really easy to apply. Have you guys not tried doing it yourselves? I can't fathom paying over 1k to have someone do that. A wrap maybe but ceramic coatings are as easy as waxing a car. Maybe easier.
  9. Who here has seen the 2020 GT500 in person?

I saw the blue one at Detroit auto show. Personally i like the GT350 look much better. The 500 really just didn't excite me.
  10. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

  11. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

  12. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

This is the exact car i i ordered too. Ruby red with black stripes. Same MSRP. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Ruby red? Mine was produced on 5/6. Still sitting "offsite".
  13. Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

I hope not! But that said, my 2019 Raptor is on its 3rd transmission in less than 3000 miles so maybe they should do some hard testing.
  14. GT350R ordered - anyone else nervous?

I had a custom ordered F80 M3. It was very fast, handled really good but was buzzy and uncomfortable. Not nice to drive far and i got bored with it in less than a year. The GT350 is a car you buy and keep. Its iconic and just way more cool. The M3 was disappointing to me. I liked my X5M and GSF...
