My two are fairly pedestrian.
-2016 Focus STā¦traded for my 1st GT. Super fun car for the money. It was definitely more rowdy than my current daily, a ā21 GLI
-1989 Toyota Cressidaā¦it was a $1k winter beater but I had soo much fun in it. People who knew what it was loved it but most people...
Iāve owned a ā21 GLI S M/T for two years and 19k miles; it has been 100% trouble-free (as it should be for a new car lol)
Being an EA888, I know the water pump will be an issue at some point but it is what it is. All vehicles have some kind of Achilles heel lol. Overall, Im happy with the VW...
Unfortunately I did total my ā16 PP1 a little over two weeks ago. Got a broken arm out of it but Iām otherwise ok.
As for what Iād replace it with, Iām totally undecided. Iād like to lower my payment a bit so a 2019+ Jetta GLI and a RWD Stinger GT is on the short list. Iām also considering...
I have a question about CPO cars as well. Are warranty claims processed the same as they would be a factory warranty or is it done through a 3rd party?
I like all beer but I guess Iām an odd one out here as I like hazy NEIPAs...and Iām the furthest thing from a skinny jean-wearing hipster lmao. I try my best to drink local, Pittsburgh, brews. If I drink something national, itās usually Bells Two Hearted, Sierra Navadaās Hazy Little Thing, or if...
I may only be 28 but when it comes to opinions/tastes, Iām definitely more in line with the boomer crowd. When I bought my ā16 PP1, the first thing I did was swap out the stock wheels for something with a little more bling. With these dusty brembos, I have to clean these wheels more often but...
I have pretty decent self control when it comes to buying cars. Iāve been driving 12 years and owned my first car for half that time. All the others have come in the second 6 lmao
-ā97 Oldsmobile Achieva
-ā14 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
-ā16 Focus ST (I can thank @Shifting_Gears for that one...
They are pretty rare. I couldnāt find Kia build numbers but the best estimate Iāve found is ~3% of ā11 and ā12 Sorentos had 3 pedals. They were only offered in 4cyl FWD configuration.
It definitely adds to the fun. Itās surprisingly stable for being a CUV too. Lift off oversteer is accomplished...
I have an ā11 Kia Sorento 6M/T that I drive for work. My job requires me to visit multiple retail outlets in the course of a day and Iād prefer the sorento get the door dings. Iād love to daily the GT but Iād rather keep the car Iām making payments on in the best condition I can.
Both of my cars are stick but the Sorento has a key. The only thing that catches me up is when I reach down for a phantom key on the steering column to shut the mustang off lol
Also, I get a mini panic attack when Iām driving the Sorento and donāt feel my keys in my pocket, then I think...
I bet every other non-GLHS went to the crusher years ago. Itās quite special to see an everyday car of this age in such nice shape being that Iām in the rust belt.
Spotted this bad boy at Rural King. These dustbusters were everywhere when I was a kid. My parents even had itās platform mate, the Trans Sport lmao. I donāt know the last time I spotted one in the wild lol
